The difference is to try and humiliate me you have to take what I say out of context, you make a fool of yourself enough that I don't have to take what you say out of context.

I've already explained the context in which I said it. Like I said, you have to try and be deceitful to try and humiliate me but everyone knows what I said and what context it was in. It only serves to prove my point when you continue this. No twisting of words and context when I'm you Ipswich boys, you should ask yourself why.

oh dear, oh dear, oh dear beefy. Its so sad to see such a stalwart wum struggling and dive to the 'in context' line. whats next? running off to the snakepit and hiding till your next success?

Just man up and face facts, you bigged yourself and your team up, and made a twat of yourself with your predictions. Can't wait till this weeks installment of Pink Un bashing.

I think too many on here assume that a starting formation is the whole strategy for the match. Remember Lambert's experiments with a 3 man defence that went so totally wrong. The formation worked for the first quarter of the match until the defence messed up the off-side trap for the first goal. Hughton has to base his strategy on an expectation that every every player will adhere to the strategy and perform to the top of their ability to make it work. You also have to allow for the fact that Fulham players stuck to their strategy and made it work through very high-level performances from every player. I thought CH reacted well with the substitutions to change the strategy to chase the game, and that was about all he could do. Personally, I don't want a manager like Warnock who criticises players in public (PL was good in this regard). The players (and CH) are professionals who know what went wrong and will hopefully put it right on Saturday. Fortunately City have a good squad with at least two good players at every position if CH needs to change things, but it's the players on the pitch who will have to make it happen and personally I think they will. OTBC!

at the end of the day, if it takes a walloping on opening day to fix our problems, of which personally, i feel there are not that many, then so be it - these things happen. we don't need major surgery, just a bit of tinkering, a couple more additions if possible, and a kick up the 'arris <ok>
