Not quite Barry - their continued shocking form did cause the SFL to introduce a rule that any team finishing bottom twice in succession would have their status reduced to Associated Member, losing their voting rights. If followed by two more successive bottom finishes, other clubs were to vote on whether or not to boot them out. Not sure how The Shire escaped that one though, because they did finish bottom for the following two years - making five in a row - yet survived.
What a great start to the season. I made sure that I didn't jinx which is why I predicted a Palace win! Last night I went to a quiz night run by our local multiple birth club and my team won, which was a bit of a surprise. I also bought half a sheep for $50 in an auction held at the event. That would normally cost at least $200. Fortunately it has been butchered but I will feel uncomfortble about eating some farmer's ex girlfriend.
oh dear..why am i awake! Full week of work ahead starting tomorrow and i'm sitting here catching up on not606 and xfactor! lol...i'm soo going to regret this in the morning!
Zolas record in competitive fixtures so far P2 W2 ..... good start and this is our gel period so hopes are high and we even got a full one minute 53 on the FLS, already doubled our normal allocation!!!
So far, the funniest line by a commentator (IMO) this season is by Steve Wilson on MotD2 "Chelsea have signed Oscar, are they also going to sign Big Bird and the Cookie Monster?" On that note, night all from a very foggy/misty island. In my 16 years here, I've seen it like this early in the morning, but it was like that at about 9 this evening. It's the loudest that I've heard the fog horns on the ferries and I live right near the harbour.
Evening all from a continued hot Florida - what a cracking result on sat (still yesterday for me). Was picking up live score updates via miss w_y's iPhone and free wifi courtesy of Walt. We went mad when the score updated to 2-3 - got a lot of funny looks from a lot of people! First football shirt I saw was a Chelsea shirt - next was a Watford shirt, I gave the fella a big COYH, much to the embarrassment of mrs w_w and the usual muttering of " I cannot take you anywhere". After 4 days of solid roller coasters we have a chill day at a water park before heading off to the gulf coast for week of chilling out...
Morning all from Bristol, another day another dollar as such..........strange week this one, one day of normal day job then one and 2 nights of shift work...but will have the pleasure of travelling to Paris for a long weekend on Friday
Morning!! So, the other day I told you how all my life had been turned upside down as my start date for my new job was put back...WELL...they rang and we're now going with the original September date!! YEY! Though I have to say, I'm a wee bit confused by it all but I can't complain as this really was good news Off to play golf today, packed to the rafters with sun cream and golf balls (as I'm terrible). Hope you all have a splendid day!
Morning all Cooler this morning after spending yesterday at a very hot Rose Bowl and seeing KP out first ball......very very funny. I haven't heard a cricket crowd laugh so much!
Morning Theo, I heard he got booed all the way to the crease and all the way back to the pavillion. Was that because he had jumped ship and gone to play for Surrey or do you think it was because of his attitude towards England?
I am returned. My flight from ReykjavÃk arrived at kl9:15 and I am tired. Brazil is four hours behind so I still think it is not kl8:30. I will rest for today and see about my things later or tomorrow. We have 13C here and Sao Paulo was 18C when I left at midnight on saturday.
You'll barely notice the difference, Ak. Welcome home. I hope they don't expect you to go to work tomorrow.
BB sorry I did a lousy job of cleaning my PM inbox the other day, give me a shout if you still need any help!
Still almost last on though lol Yay, something good to look forward to! Excellent news hampshire! Glad it's all worked out in the end Welcome home Ak , good to have you back!
Afternoon Charlie A bit of both I think. There were boos but mostly it was banter, especially when he fielded near the boundary..."Was that a tactical duck, Kev?" etc
i wasn't happy..i'd predicted a Man U win...and i'd like to think there will be some competition for Man City...i'd hate to think they'd run away with the league. Still, i'll be cheering City on on Saturday against Liverpool

A while ago it was reported that Baz had gone missing. Has he been found yet? Are m'learned friends involved?
