Some strange decisions Wd but as fans we only see whats on the pitch on the day. I was disappointed to lose but a good performance. Both of us have to be happy with the first game, but you probably more as you didn't know if there would be a first game.
Very true Possum. Apart from our kids - Ashley Harris & Adam Webster - when our players came out to warm up before the game, I didn't recognise a single one of them. Very strange moment indeed !
Chanting for players you don't even know must be the weirdest feeling a fan could ever have, but as long as they wear your colours and give 100% , you can't ask for more.
We apparently made history again yesterday - I read somewhere that it's 114 years since a team fielded 11 debutants in a league match. Well maybe that's some kind of consolation? Perhaps
You know what seems really weird? Saturday we fielded a team that, with the exception of Andersen, all came from Britain or Ireland, and that must be the first time in over ten years that 90% of the team was made up of British and Irish talent.
You made up for Fulham then, I believe they had 0 I think the sooner some sort of ruling comes in like at least 4 or 5 British born players is a minimum the better.
I rather naively believed that this kind of unpleasant tribalism where you hate your neighbours or the opposition was a thing of the past having been shown the genuine warmth of true sportsmanship with the Olympics. But then this is our rather sad pathetic little loser SB3 so we should expect no better.
You should have been on here yesterday Godders and seen what one of your posters put on here - he has been exterminated.......... again.
Wigan looked quite good after the first 7 minutes, if they have a late kick off at St.Fairy's I fancy them to win that one, and leave the Scummers on a deserved NIL points!
Blimey, it will be the Champions League next, then world domination. Is Doctor Evil on your coaching staff ?!
