He's improved the same team, with only a couple of signings!
You have a great fan base, from what I can see, a great "footballing philosophy" and you've managed to get the aggregate score to 7-5!
<laugh> Gotta give us something, eh?

You really played quality attacking football against us, and stifled pretty much everything up the other end.
We've got s**tty Green, you've got Vorm... I wish we had the Goalkeeping scouts you have!

    Good luck this season.

(QPR Always make things as difficult as possible, of course).

Cheers. Obviously a long way to go, but we did show a lot more attacking intent than we did last season and I think that caught you off guard. A .lucky first goal that Green should have dealt with, but for the first half hour I was quite worried. We seemed to settle into the game a bit then and the next couple of goals and the way we were going forward took us all by surprise I think.
I've said since Laudrup's appointment that it throws second season syndrome out of the window for us, and although I know it's very early days, on the basis of that I may get to be proved right.
Good luck for the rest of the season, I fully expect you to bounce back and do well given the players you've signed. I certainly don't think you'll be in the same position you were at the end of last season

We've implemented a Plan B into Plan A. We now keep possession, ass thr ball well but look dangerous on the counter, something we didn't under Buck.

What second season syndrome? Teams sussed us out? Not any more.

I thought I proved second season syndrome is a myth a few weeks ago yet we are still talking about it.

Don't think I saw that to be honest, but my memory is piss poor so I may well have.I'm sure it is a myth, but it's the media who like to bang on about it. I'm just happy to see performances and results like that to ram it back down their throats.
Most are predicting us to struggle this season based on losing Rogers and Allen, I think we showed Saturday that both have been replaced more than adequately and I believe that it will mean we will flourish in our second season as a surprise package...again

    Thanks to the OP. <applause>

I agree that our first goal had a degree of fortune about it but thereafter we did fantastically well. As for QPR it was just a case of being caught on the hop. I don't think Sparkey had his formation right and his players ended up looking shellshocked, but I think he'll get it right. He does have some very good players.

Very early days I know but my early predictions for the drop (that mean absolutely nothing) are Norwich, Reading and Wigan.
