Swords....look back through recent threads and note the number of times I've agreed with or acknowledged points made that differed to mine!!
Again, as always, you resort to personal attacks and as long as you continue on this forum, more and more respected posters (like Roller) will disappear!!

I agree with that, which is why I criticised MH for playing him too deep centrally. I also criticised Adel for not getting back for one of the goals,
But you said that we'd been watching him for 3 years with NO IMPROVEMENT!! Now.....anyone must surely acknowledge that he was sensational when we won the Championship. That is why I felt your argument was a little flawed mate.
We all see these kind of players differently. Players like Taarabt, Bowles, Marsh et al will always be temperamental and give the ball away and not play the simple pass. Some enjoy watching them and forgive their failings, others don't!! Fair enough!!

Do what you wish Über laugh or cry its your choice Please understand I haven't got full control of my mind

Taarabt will always be worth putting into a team for the magic he can spin ... It's doesn't come off everytime

If anyone suggests that he wasn't trying on Saturday please reconsider and give massive respect to Swansea as they hounded him and in effect ruined his game ... It wasn't all about How bad we were it was was more to do with how Swansea set up a completely new look team

We went into the game thinking we were playing the old Swansea and I am sure they would agree that in the past we have done very well as our style came out on top...

This looks like a different Swansea to me ( a swansea with teeth) and we were completely undone but I didn't see a lack of effort and Swansea looked like winning this game the more it went on

    Über here endeth the lesson
    Please feel free to comment

We made Swansea look good, I'll wait till I see them against an organised side not giving gifts before I pass judgement.

Evening Northolt, come out your cave then have you mate.
Insults quites imply go straight past me and if you knew anything about me you'd know to put forward your point and leave it at that without boring us with insults, but if thats the best you can do, then you knock yourself out mate....!
DT, thank you mate. Ewveryone is entitlled to an opinion and I have yet to read a post that clearly shows mw where, when & why T has been the best player in the last 18 months? I must have missed something.
The point i was making was, last season he had a multitude of excuses to choos from, this season he has had nothing except backing and help....still no change!
Swords, i wrote a list of the first 3 people that would reply to this OP and i got 2 outta 3 right.
for the record, T was amazing for us in the Championship winning season and i 'll happily give him all the credit he deserves and more for that season
Why should i sing his praises since then?...anyone? Apart from a fantastic goal against arsenal and very few sublime passes, I just do=nt see it and those who have thier tongues firmly stapled to his arse cany prove any diffrent.....

again, I'll expect blatant stupidity from North, Some well put points from Matt; and I'm sure Col will have something to shout !!( only kidding mate)

I again did say that no-one was good, but that wasnt the point of the post & its good to see that not only Swords and myself agree with it...

So over to you guys again

Sorry north, just couldnt get an expletive in there for you..XXX love you !

Sorry if I upset you, but I do think you're boring when you start talking Taarabt. I think everyone knows opinion on it now, and I doubt I'm the only one that doesn't care, but crack on, free speech (going in circles) and all that<ok>

    Dear All,

After Saturdays result.....I actually came away from Loftus road with a bewildered sense of stunned disbeleif, but a weird sense of joviality. It was as though, although we have moved forward as a club, and although we have good players, we still are QPR. When things go t*ts up, they go really t*ts up!

Although that was probably the worst result I can ever recall (Anyone bringing up the Vauxhall motors game has to remember, they only just about beat us, and we were a league one club, in a cup competition. Isn't as bad as losing 5-0 at home, let alone to frikking Swansea, don't care what you say about them being a good team etc), but in the pub afterwards I was just laughing and joking.

Then I realised. I spent quite some time on here, reading, discussing, thinking about the season ahead, fixtures, signings etc. Kind of gets you all worked up for no reason. What will be will be. From now on I will only here about who we have signed when a mate tells me, and I will only be discussing the game on match day itself. Its been lovely posting on here, but this is my last post. So I must wish you all adieu, and so good luck for the future

I am of course a big Adel Taarabt fan as I tend to love the creative side of football. I think i can count of my hand matches that he hasn't entertained me.
It's not just the tricks it's his vision I love the best. He has faults but if I was a QPR manager then he would be in the team everytime I support QPR for exactly that reason as we have always had a skilful player in our ranks so therefore we are used to that. I am not worried about his tracking back etc and that's maybe because i am a big fan of French football. I am not keen on the standard English game ... in fact most know on here that I actually think sometimes our English game is well behind everyone else ... Its a culture thing ... I prefer freedom in play and admire skill first.

I only hear and see comments based on the appearance that Adel is at fault because he is lazy etc ... IMO he is simply not and all the time he gets doubted I will stick up for him on this forum. The player is a genius to me, It's was the best signing of the summer for me and he has proved that this is his club and deserved us to praise him. I am not worried that others can't see this and the TV says he is this he is that ... to me he is already one of the best players to wear the shirt maybe even the best. Yesterday's game in the 70s,80s and 90s would not compare to today's in anyway IMO that's why I think he is the best. What's more the other premiership team know he is that good now and give him the respect he deserves. On Saturday he played well enough IMO and yet he was to blame for the 3rd goal ... you trace back any goal then the fickle will blame someone ... that's not my way and it's not the modern way ... The collective was poor, the team was poor and TBH i am getting sick reading the opinions that slate us off when all it is is letting off steam because we lost ... we are not in apposition like Blackburn for instance where the fan base hates the manager and the owners we have a great team and a great club and are in the best condition of ALL TIME ... how people can't see that I don't know. If we all start swinging from a good place to a bad place just based on results we will not grow inside and before you know it you are lost ... QPR is a special religion to me and it's the last bastion of style, passion and skill with a core of real fans ... we must not lose that

I always wonder why so many of us have different views on Adel and Barton! I think with Delboy it is because he is so variable. He started the game pretty well, created a number of openings, had a couple of decent shots, one of which especially Green would surely have let in, if we were so lucky to have had him playing for the opposition and the Swans excellent keeper playing for us! But as usual he over - elaborated, and his tendancy to hold the ball too much when his skill had already helped get colleagues in more space was apparent again. As the game progressed his game, and particularly his passing deteriorated in line with the rest of the team - they were all well Greened off!

I agree Carlos you are by far a too brighter star for here IMO my opinion is you are of the right stuff and I am rapidly losing the will to read the **** posted on here even my own posts are rubbish and I agree its time to leave the party as its getting out of hand. I love reading this stuff but need to button my lip

There is little to comment about when there is so much ****e around. You have been a great poster and too good for here my friend.

That's a shame Carlos because you are always excellent value on here and diffuse some of the pomposity and seriousness.

But in all honesty I'm tempted to join you in an attempt to roll back the years to when being a supporter meant going to the game every other Saturday plus a few away ones, listening to Sports Report, watching Match of the Day/The Big Match, and reading the reports in the Sunday and Monday papers. Then forgetting about it until you are making your way to the next game. This total media saturation is tiring and gives the whole thing an exaggerated importance.

    I'm going to ponder this.......

Carlos I ask you directly to stay and support what this Forum should be about ... laughter at all times after all its just a collection of idiots none of us known anything about football and have no influence on our club anyway. I think you would belong with the special area of the QPR crowd with the likes of the beautiful people on here ... if you need a holiday then have one but i am sure a new day will arrive when the laughter and madness will return.
I am hoping to compile a new church on here and I see you as the vicar and you can wear those enlarged teeth like Dick Emery used to if you want?
