I think there are many liverpool fans bricking it on here that rodgers will take liverpool to the championship ey and not championship football. your an impatient bunch i kid you not. you are expecting to much too soon from a talented manager brought in to resurrect the mess liverpool were in under kenny, I have a little secret for you....It wont happen over night and for rodgers to do what he is there to do may take a few steps back before you can go forward....those of you that want instant success should not bother going because you wont get it i promise you, come back next season and maybe you might get some success, rodgers wont get the sack as your owners have given rodgers their blessing and passed his 180 page game plan that will take a season or more to establish....Mid table will be fantastic as the changes slowly take place and anything above that will be a bonus....And remember football has changed and no team has the divine right to beat anyone anymore. we beat arsenal, man city and liverpool last season. was it a surprise? It would have been 10 years ago but not today, any team can beat each other on the day. so dont expect liverpool to just turn up and win as them days are long gone.....
That's fine mate because I know we're a small Club. I'm not claiming we're something we're not. And as I said above, there's absolutely no shame at all in being a decent sized Club that wins the odd League Cup. Newcastle, Spurs etc are good big Clubs too but you don't hear them going on about being one of the top Clubs in the Country. Its the fact that you keep saying you're a top Club that annoys most football fans in the Country. Its nothing at all against Liverpool FC who have a great history and tradition and are an aspiring top-six Club with some good players and loyal fans.
Newcastle can't claim or boast about what they haven't won & Spurs are not far behind them. Although I Think you'll find (since you've been camped here so long) that Spurs fans & Newcastle fans keep feeling the need to come on here & boast about their x place finish like its silverware. Why? Because like yourselves they rarely see the real thing in their trophy room. And you, you little prick, how would you know what we think about ourselves wether its arrogant, deluded or anything else if you weren't so busy stalking us? Seriously; How many posts can you count from LFC fans on the other teams boards stating we're a huge club? How many LFC threads started on other teams boards calling them small or championship or that their players or managers are ****e? How many threads on this board are about other clubs? Very very very few is the answer. Honestly how boring are you as a group of fans that you feel the need to come on here going "look at me" Did your mummy make you play in the living room while she entertained your latest "uncle"Tommy? Did she have a thing for Scousers? Maybe, just maybe if you spent more time on your own team than on ours you might be able to move up from your self declared small club mentality. We'll not apologise for not wanting to turn into the bitter sniveling pathetic excuse of a football fan that accepting mediocrity appears to have made you & many other "small club" (your words not mine) fans.....

Its quite sad how obsessed fans of other clubs are by Liverpool. They're always on our board. Is it insecurity? Jealousy? Who knows but it seems on most threads on this board in recent days opposition fans outnumber Liverpool fans, which is hilarious.
Can I just say, up until the joke of a penalty and joke of a sending off Reina hadn't made a save. Can't do much about that Gera goal or the ref siding with West Brom. That said, still need to address the problem of not being able to put the ball in the net and not being able to come from behind. Same problems as always, hopefully Suarez brings his shooting boots next week.

I can sort of understand why Swansea fans would want to be on our board. As they've lost a manager who did something only one other manager has managed with Swansea (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) in their history, which is get promoted to the highest division. Also to lose one of the most promising players your academy has ever produced must be a bit galling. But its still Everton-esque behaviour that you'd rather concentrate on Rodgers losing than Swansea enjoying one of the best results in their history.
I know it's only football and not the end of the world, but you have to wonder about the mentality of people who get off at gloating over others' misfortunes ( real or imagined). Sad, really. I want to believe that it's just immaturity and they'll grow out of it one day but I'm not so sure.
