I don't know if anyone else has posted on this subject, but I haven't seen anything. I would just like to say that the minutes applause yesterday for Big Mac brought a lump to my throat and more than a few tears to my eyes. I met Alan on a number of occasions and he was a great guy. I must add that the Swansea supporters played their part in the tribute and thank them for that.
Yes, meant to mention that. Swansea fans were brilliant with the applause. The applause on 5mins didnt really get going where I was (lower loft), but we clapped during that time aswell.
I do wish that people would observe a respectful silence, though. The only reason we have applause is because there are enough idiots in any crowd that will ruin a silence.
I did a little clapping in X block on 5 minutes and stood up an chanted 'Alan McDonald' along with some others. I was so choked, just about managed to maintain my composure!!
