I never thought I'd see Puncheon defend, but he really put himself about today. Very impressed.

So how did you do? I didn't watch it, I know you lost 3-2 but was it an even game or what?

What a great game. Was so proud of the guys, didn't expect to score quite honestly so to get two is mighty impressive. Really looking forward to the rest of the season now..

I know! Imagine how it'll feel when we actually beat one of the "top sides".

So So Proud. Tactics were spot on held them to 1-0 to 60 mins then switched the team and go for the points, so nearly worked. We proved we can and will hold our own in the prem.

So proud but gutted we didn't get anything out of the game at the same time. City probably deserved to win but every Saints player put in 200%. Fox really ****ed up for the 3rd goal but there are a hell of a lot more positives than negatives to take out of this game. Anyone worried about Rickie now? I think not.

Exactly, Puncheon looked a bit lost to be honest, hope Ramirez was watching, and for that matter, anyone that may want to sign for us, we did ourselves a credit.

If/when we beat Wigan then just maybe we will be able to give Utd a game as well.

    Reading fan in peace.

Absolutely brilliant effort by your guys today. I was willing you to hold on to your lead and I reckon every other neutral fan in the country was as well.

If we can put up half as good a show at Chelsea on Wednesday I'll be ecstatic, but I say that more in hope than expectation.

That performance must have done wonders for the players confidence, as well as give you fans plenty of hope for the season to come.

City edged it but thought we did really well and probably should have sneaked a point. People have been worrying about our centre backs, however it was Fox who struggled the most. Man City were far from their best and were sloppy in possession. Southampton will get a fillip from today and hopefully we can carry that into our next more winnable match.

United won't be taking us for granted that's for sure. I was really pleased that were very threatening going forward in the 2nd half. We could have scored more than twice.

Was pleased with Saints today. There were lots of positives. Yes, if City had been more clinical they could have scored more, but we showed we can score against a top PL side, we had periods of the game when we showed what we can do, Ward-Prowse did well, Clyne looked good, and Fonte did well. I was especially pleased for Ricky as he has his first PL goal and he changed the game as soon as he came on. Would have been nice to get something from the game, but I am not disappointed. Only a handful of clubs are in City's category...we will get points this season.

Great performance. Superb individual performances across the team, brilliant finishes and looking forward to the Wigan match much more now.

But... Fox does worry me defensively. Was saying that even before his mistake for City's 3rd. Gives too much room and gets dragged out of position.
