the winning goal says everything about why koren needs to be central, hes a class above and makes things happen, nobody else in our squad would have even contemplated that pass never mind make it... it looked like 4-4-2 to me, with mclean starting wide right and aluko up front to start with,but i might have been drunk
This ^^ This is how we set up. And the first tactical change of the match was to switch Faye and Chester around after Faye played them onside about ten minutes into the game. Around the half hour mark McLean went up front with Prossy and Aluko went left, Stewart right.
It was 4231, but for a while when we lost the ball they were letting Aluko ahead of Proschwitz to chase the defenders down with the German dropping to just in front of Koren/McKenna.
