I was wondering if any of you lovely gentlemen could give me some advise.

A friend of mine has invited me to take part in a wager regarding The Championship, however I am not very clued up on the football league as I only follow Swansea City.

The wager is as follows

£50 bet

Choose a team from The Championship , and who's ever team finishes highest shall win the bounty!

Rule: you cannot choose a relegated team from last season.

My friend has chosen your lovely Redbirds , so that counts you out. I was just wondering if any of my friends who have knowledge of the lower leagues could suggest a team that I may choose?

seeing as you've been in the premiership about 1 and a bit seasons out of the last 25 or so your knowledge of lower league football is probably much better than you think.

Yes Dave, TBH your post has some resonance with me . Earlier I was trying to think who Swansea's main rivals are now?

With no disrespect meant , obviously Cardiff are in a different league , and whilst I used to enjoy the Derbies , its obvious that Swans have moved on to a different level (The Premier League).

I dont suppose we have a rival in our class any more :( nearest must be Birmingham way :(

I'm sorry h bomb, not sure what you mean? are you saying Swansea are in the same league as Cardiff? or that i am dreaming that Swans are in the prem?
