Wingers don't have to have pace. True, it helps. But I don't recall Eddie Grey being that quick. Snoddy will get there in the end. Pity it won't be with Leeds.
Imagine how good Eddie would have looked in that dire team we had last season. Snoddy is good, but he was a big fish in a small pond. His step up to the Premiership level could prove an eye opener
You really have a problem with me, don't you? I wish you would read what I write instead of jumping up and down seeing just what you want to see. Your method of communictaion could improve too. Each of those players are great. I've never been in the camp that, once they leave, they were ****e. Clealry that is your persona coming through. Personally, I thought we missed Johnson most out of all of them, but most didn't see my point of view. And I have been critical of Snoddy for years due to his lack of pace, his moaning and birtchiness to the team (especially when made captain), and his lack of desire to track back and cover. What I am saying though is - read my lips (or words written) - that as a trio together in one team, they are too weak, they do not make a good team. I ask you to please stop making up what I say, because it is getting tiresome
Just confirms my suspicions that they're relegation candidates under Hughton this season, something for which I was derided by their fans on here.
I agree. After one game of the new season its clear for all to see that we are going to struggle, much like Liverpool. It also appears West Brom and Fulham are going to be title challengers.
Points taken Eire/Life. But the original question surrounded whether or not Snoddy will make it in the PL. I know he doesn't have any pace. But he will make it eventually when he works out how to go round PL defenders. Hope Norwich survive. Their match with Villa should be interesting. Still not sure why Lambert left.
I never had suspicions about West Brom and Fulham being title challengers, so how could those results confirm anything? I'm not pulling this notion that you're going down out of a magic hat.
We were told this time last season that we "wouldn't stand a chance" and that "Derby's record is in danger of being beaten", so if you don't mind I'll take your prediction with a pinch of salt.
