Incidentally, what's wrong with getting carried away with a 5-0 victory? Its not like it happens very often, and if you can't get carried away with 5-0 when can you?
Normally I'd agree, but it being the first game under a new manager with 3 new first teamers just makes me a little more cautious. Nothing wrong with loving it and gloating about it, but let's not get carried away in the sense that we'd expect to hammer the hammers next week too. We work better as the underdogs...or is that about to change?
I was cruising bet fair last night for odds on a top 6 finish! Its 5-0 on the first game of the season, its the premier league, its ML in charge, I don't think I could get more carried away if Aladdin brought around one of his magic carpets!
