You lot honestly think we're bothered if you signed him? The links with him have calmed down since Kenny's departure.

And oh, the comment on 'three' really shows how much class you lot have.

Cannot believe the arrogance and disrespect of Southampton fans, Norwich fans last season have by far proved the best lot who have been newly promoted.

You should be banned. We don't use these incidents against people, or teams, as it is nothing but sad. No one should be throwing deaths in the faces of other teams, and for you to do so is a disgrace.

But Liverpool fans go on about the 96 liverpool fans that died (R.I.P), but you don't seem to remember what happened on the 29th of May,1985.

It's a shame that you don't hear Liverpool apologize about the Heysel disaster as much as they go on about the deaths of their own fans at Hillsborough.

Please don't think the rest of the Saints crew are like this deluded individual, we aren't and we also haven't signed Ramirez or Phillips, or Buttner, or Lens or hardly anyone else yet! New kids on the block trying to run before we can walk. Cut us some slack, let's see if we can keep the score down a bit tomorrow, or as one of our lot said, we will have to win 6 0 to go top, who said Southerners have got no sense of humour.

This thread started off as a discussion on why GR would sign for Saints and not Pool. Without the least intention of gloating or sneering at your team or club, would you agree that your performance today was a long way from convincing him or any other top player (if he is) that they would have more chance of success at Anfield than St. Mary's?

Seriously mate; it's not even distasteful anymore that a sad scum on the back of the bottom feeder of a pondsucker like you still goes back to this.

I mean I'm a LFC fan and I can think of roughly 300 things in the last 30 years to attempt to WUM us rather than using the deaths of football fans of any shirt.

We have our resident WUMs but they will scoff your puny, small dicked, felching your fathers male lover, sorry excuse for internet troll ass. I hope your home help sodomises you. Truly.

You're New to our board but the deaths of any club, and taking the piss thereof isn't tolerated on here. We don't ignore , we don't turn the other cheek, we don't hit the "ignore" button.

But Welcome you and banter on.

Yes. Said it earlier to other LFC fans that believe we should be targeting "world class" players that we aren't at the level to attract the established ones & have to uncover the "future" works class stars.

    But;

    1) I'm still not sure GR is one
    2) I believe LFC are a big & lucrative enough club to employ the guys that can find the "new" talent.

Davidako, I wasn't talking about how "big" your club is, or how you perceive it. I was suggesting that your performance today gave no indication that your team will be a force to be reckoned with this year.

    3) our "history" or better called prestige is still more attractive than any team that isn't merely looked at with fond nostalgia within England.

Global brand vs old girl of the league

Not taking the p*ss either by the way......

No, the same couldn't have been said if you'd won 3-0, such a result would have guven you at least some cause for optimism. Today I saw a worrying lack of belief.

There were 2 penalties, 1 red card and a wonder goal against us; when put into perspective before the match - If we knew that was to happen before the game, would we have been optimistic? No. Those things happen; they were both very weak penalties, and it certainly wasn't a red card but that's by the by, that won't happen every game, and so I'm just looking forward to next week to see what we can actually do.

Long was past your last man so a foul is always a red card, what i will say is in my opinion it was just outside the area where the push occured.
