Really hope dudge is the real deal this year - Daws has been a fantastic servant (one of the best in my time and that is some time) but its time for him to relenquish the LB spot to an emerging talent. Aluko looks some player whilst the German has some work to do to live up to billing.. Very disappointed with the attendance - looks like 10-15% of passholders haven't renewed.. whether thats the recession or complacency I don't know... Lets hope the pay on the day (even a cash turnstile for East Stand) will mean there will be highs and lows..
That effort Aluko had off the bar was a bit special. Thought Big Nick looked better than the Rotherham game, still a few nice touches, but very much finding his feet. Not fluid today, Brighton keep the ball VERY well, but nice to cheekily skank a win like that.
