    If he didn't leave without saying a word to the fans then maybe we would know 'the facts'. And if we as supporters of the club paid his £100k per week wages it's our bloody right to boo if we want to.

    Yes so he was giving 100% against Portsmouth, when he was stood chatting to Viduka and Martins was up against 4 defenders. Yeah great commitment.

    Quality player. Was our best player under Keegan, suffered long ball under Allardyce. Useless football under Kinnear, lack of service under Hughton/Shearer. Tried twice as hard as Martins and Viduka, squandered a lot less chances than Martins.

    Although I will always have a soft spot for Owen, he has been a **** to us. We needed him to man up when we needed him most.

    He could've stayed with us for pennies during our championship campaign (fair enough if you think i'm speaking crap but if he felt any guilt he would've done that for at least one season).

    If i was on those wages for 4-5 years being constantly injured I would feel seriously guilty as a footballer and a person, giving something back to us would've been the right thing to do. He didn't, **** him.

    4 years, wasn't really injured in last 2, injured playing for us in first season. Only season with an issue is the second when he missed it all through injury sustained on international duty.

    ^ This. Same could be said for Beye, ****ing ****ty injury-prone Duff and the vastly inconsistent ''26 year old'' Martins. They could've taken pay-cuts and stayed to at least help us getting promotion back into the PL but they thought they were too good when they were the ones producing lacklustre performances which got us relegated. <ok>
