Aye, here it is on RM

    http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=93678

I saw it on Twitter a few weeks ago with folk saying it was a new interview from Israel - the link on it was a forum dated 2000 or something so it's surfaced more than once.

and here's the interview that was plagiarised for it where the wee bawsack claims West Ham are a racist club

    http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/.../west-ham-reject-claims-of-racism-742930.html

    EDIT: Even better <laugh>
I just read that RM thread and some brain donor is claiming that the article was in the Herald before "the Timmy editor pulled it" <laugh>

If ever anything proved Dev's signature, it's this and the Negri "interview"

Rangers were not aware Ferguson was married to a fenian when they signed him.

First chance they had they punted him.

    Bigots, sorry ex bigots, probably.

TO be honest ER it was more probable that he wasn't really that good. He is atypical of many successful managers who hardly set the heather alight during their playing career, Walter Smith, Davie Moyes, Jim Mclean, Jock Stein, Bill Shankley blah blah blah.

There is also the matter of Sir Alex's socialist roots. He became extremely unpopular with the management for acting as an unofficial shop steward for many of the players. There was one story about how he marched up to the managers office demanding a pay rise for the reserve team. Good for him. I totally admire him for that.

Okay he married a catholic which wouldn't help in these unenlightened days, but he wasn't punted purely because of that.

Dev, Quentin Young was actually not that great I watched him as a boy and there was no way he was one of our top players. That's like suggesting someone like Paul Wilson was one of yours.

Can you get the original source for this, I'd love to send it to Graham Spiers to get his reaction.

I can only tell you what he said Moses, as I have said several times I have no idea if he was right or wrong in his allegation but it was his belief that his wife was the issue. He may have been no great shakes but he was a regular in the team at that time as can be seen from his stats.

To go from Rangers to East Fife you must admit would appear slightly bizarre.

Not as bizarre as being in the first round of the league cup and playing East Fife:emoticon-0101-sadsm No actually I'm really enjoying this season.

Yes he was a regular Dev, but so was big Broadfoot a few years back:biggrin: I have no idea why he left and it is obviously a bit of a culture shock to move from Glasgow to Fife, but remember that would just be dropping a league in these days, rather than going down three or so divisions today.

You may have a point there but I doubt we will ever see the interview again so it's a moot point. Besides, even if it did turn up it would be seen as sour grapes from Young, perhaps it was.

    1. Dev's no a Prod.

    2. Ferguson's departure had nothing whatsoever to do with religion.

    3. Cutty Young's departure had nothing whatsoever to do with religion.

    4. Big Jock Knew.

    Thanks for reading.

Cutty was a Rangers man through and through. Ended up losing some fingers when labouring and got caught when paving slabs fell on them. Now dead and liked a drink.

Asked him one night i met him if he had any regret's, and he said one. He said he regretted not being colour blind, that way he wouldn't have got to look at those rabid green and white's hoops. They might have been Orange and Purple if he was colour blind was his thoughts... But then he said he might not have tried hard enough for the gers,,.

Mike Galloway liked a drink as well

Cutty also said Tosh McKinlay was on the wages he was on when he first joined Rangers,, PMSL.

I always wondered why Tosh only had that one black pin striped suit

It was also the reason why Ferguson turned down the managers job at Ibrox, not once but twice.

Ya auld bugger:biggrin: Bib tried this one earlier on the general forum. For your edification I shall merely cut and paste what I put there although you have probably already read it.

This is probably a world record for a lower tier play off game. The tabloids were alluding to a normal league game played at the teams Home Ground which you know<whistle>

Where was the 2007 play off game played at Bib? The Memorial stadium or the New Meadow ground?
