We shouldn't judge anything yet, Fulham is such an arseholey game for us. Let's just try and play some football now.
where is the contradiction exactly? don't see anyone dismissing staying up - are they? saying that we need to sort it out and find a system that works or we will be in trouble. this isnt a great team we are playing today. thankfully he has changed things, but its likely to be too late now.
I completely agree defence was problem last year. That's not what I am saying. I've been championing get rid Ward and Barnett and get another centreback and a defensive midfielder. But the Transfer Window is not closed, it's not all doom and gloom yet. I am just saying to say we will go down this season after 60 minutes is stupid. Good point Exile, hopefully all the players will now be fully aware that we're in a fight for survival, and we can try and capture the mentality we had last season.
Well yes, I agree with that but I do wonder how likely it is we will spend more money to iron out what appears to be fairly obvious weaknesses?
Indeed! A big middle finger to practically everyone who tipped them to go down, well done Swansea! But now feck me, 4-0 down. Hard not to remember that other game at Craven Cottage...
My point Thai is it's a good thing this is happening whilst the transfer window is open, I will never judge how a season will go based on the first game. We have started pretty ****e the last 4 seasons.
Indeed, my mind has started turning towards that dreadful day On the bright side - Blackburn are still winning
