We better come out and give it our all or I won't be impressed. It's the story of last season with plenty of possession and chances, but no goals! It's mostly down to Suarez I feel, great at getting himself into position but his shot placing is lacking.
I disagree I think 1-0 flatters west brom. They started well but after the first 10 mins I thought we were doing ok. We looked most likely to score and were having more of the ball. Suarez needs to start putting his chances away though
Do you not know we are zonal marking under Rodgers? Each player has their zone, opposition players can go where they like. WBA dropped two or three players outside the box in the hope a ball would land to one and they'd hit it well, a one in twenty chance in reality but it worked.
Add to that Suarez getting a blatant elbow yet no yellow card, then when he is "offside" but isn't and puts his arms in the arm from 50 yards away from the lino, he gets booked. I ****ing hate the refs and linesmen in this league, they get worse every bloody year.
I think because Johnston is on the other wing, he has put his boots on the other feet to compensate. How can you keep making the same stupid mistake of not being able to keep the ball in play, when there is no-one around him? I knew we needed decent cover for Jose over the summer, but have they done anything about it? Lets see if Rodgers is worth his salt, and can do anything over half-time.
Can't we just convert him in to more of a winger and reduce the amount of shots he takes on goal so he could set up someone else? It would save the frustration of many Liverpool fans. (I am kidding but..) I'd rather not see any tricks at all rather than dominating tricks with no final outcome! I mean sure you could argue that Suarez's goals come eventually due to his own genius play, but really... Any striker would score just as much if they had a team controlling so much of the ball!!!! FYI. I think the way we are playing is fine though; Our issue is solely in attack.

It can't be 2/3-0, West Brom are already winning 1-0. They'd have to lose 1/3 of a goal for that to happen!
To be fair Johnson is linking up well with Suarez. Suarez is obviously not a natural finisher, but when you're isolated up front you have to take every chance yourself. I can't blame him. The referee is a joke, every call goes to WBA, worst foul of the game gets nothing and yet Suarez is booked for absolutely nothing.
