Last year Young and Suarez did pretty well. But young may not get as many games this season. RvP will improve at Old T. If roon plays deeper Less time in the box. Hazard and particularly Torres should improve this year. Gerrard will get more match time. Aguero should jink his way to more pens this season. He will need to up his game if city wish to retain the title: especially with the addition of more penalty-winning talent at Old T The candidates: Young Rooney RvP Nani Suarez gerrard Hazard Torres Aguero
My votes for Hazard, he has almost perfected his swan dive at such a young age so he could well take Ashely Young's trophy this year, Suarez will always be in the running though, that guy goes down so easily that I think he has an inner ear problem messing with his balance.
Young has my vote, as UTD will be doing a lot more attacking this year with the Ninja and the Van in the line up. Hazard is still a dark horse at the moment, but he could come good with a few dives, and racist rat will try to fall over a blade of grass to gain a few penalties.
Probably Hazard. He has the benefit of it being his first season, so he won't have the rep with the English refs that all the other players have. Could give him a crucial edge in the race for the Golden Swan
Agree. He should win a few with his dribbling skills before refs get wise. We used to get loads of pens under JM. The refs just aren't scared off us these days Think Aguero may trump everyone this season. May even win one at Old T
Young will barely play this season so Hazard. Followed by the Liverpool team as they try anything to win
Dunno about being scared of you. I think it was more the fact that all your divers in chief had played for you (or Liverpool ) for so long that the refs had all got used to their tricks. I reckon Drogba's penalty won stats must've gone down every season since he perfected his horizontal body roll...
I voted for Suarez, not for his tendancy to fall over if the wind blows but because he has such good close control he is a deffinate threat of a penalty when in the box, far better not to try and tackle him because his finnishing is sh@te.
Voted for Hazard because he is new to the premier league and the refs know a bit about the divers in the premier league and their antics.
Hazard will win this hands down. He falls like a stone whenever there is minimal contact in the area. The refs will have to be less naive (apart from the ones who officiated tonight who won't learn . The assistant ref must have had Torres in his fantasy team as he was miles offside and cannot pretend he ddn't see)
