Of those who pledged £1,000 to the PST and paid £100 upfront, how many do you think will chip in the other £900 now that the money has been 'called in'?

I hope they all do as this type of club ownership may rescue football and hand it back to the fans.

However many would have pledged with good intentions but in the cold light of day taking £1000 out of a household budget in these difficult times is a really big ask.

I think those who don't pay up will be replaced by fans deciding to put their money in now they can see it is a real possibility.

A lot of people who didn't originally pledge have done so now. It's only natural that some won't be able to pay up. Loss of jobs, other payments due etc etc. The PST have accounted for 75% of all pledges to be payed. I can see it being a lot higher.

I have read by a person that claims to be part of the trust, that so far only 2000 fans have paid the full 1k.

1k is a hell of alot of money for alot of people, I can see why alot can't part with it. I am not here to wind or be a prick just thiugh i'd let you know.(if you didn't already)

    Looking bad for pompey tho

Is that a typo Beef Dripping? That would make £2m collected already.

There is a bit of a problem in that the trust haven't issued a prospectus yet - so those who have pledged have no idea what the business plan is, plus they have said they'll be collecting the funds in between September and December, so most people won't be expecting to pay just yet.

On the plus side they appear to have received a lot more pledges this week.

How much money do they need?

Let's say you have 30,000 supporters willing to chip in. Some can do more than £1k and some less, what is the average required?

Has it been estimated how much annual membership of the trust will cost?

Don't think they will get another 28k people to pledge. But from what I have seen it's a one off payment of 1k, to get one share. People that can't afford a k will have their money with other peoples so they make a k.

Also heard by pledging you will get a season ticket and the chance to save pompey. If the bid is successful and say in 5yrs time someone buys Pompey off the trust, you will get nothing.

I don't think a "shareholder" is going to get a season ticket, but there is likely to be a discount on one. Also if they do go in the direction they were initially looking at selling may not be an option. Trouble is until they issue their prospectus nobody knows the finer detail of how it's going to work. What I understand is that they have to set up another company, as a sort of subsidiary of the trust.

Agreed that's why you have had only 2000 people give £100 to pledge. The trust need to be much clearwr.
