Great point! (My personal ratings & opinion)

Krul 7 - Solid display in general. Wasn't too troubled.
Simpson 7 - Solid in general. Looked decent going forward and defensively he was assured.
Willo 6 - Suspect in the first half. Improved a bit in the second but have my doubts about him. Looked shaky and I was nervous everytime someone was running at him. Average performance IMO.
Colo 7 - Colo day!!! Solid as usual, kept Hernandez quiet and it was a generally assured performance.
Barton 7 - Decent display. Good in the first half, average in second. Worked hard and his crosses were top-draw as usual but lacked someone of Carroll's quality to put them away!
Tiote 7 - OK display in general. Picked up his usual yellow card & wasn't his best game but still put in a very good shift.
Guthrie 8(MOTM IMO) - Controlled the midfield well. Made decent passes, put himself about, he was ''active'', worked his socks off and is starting to look like his ''usual-self''. Strong display by the 23 year old.
Guti 7 - Worked hard, troubled O'Shea throughout the first half but was quiet in the second. Worked his socks of as usual and a mainly decent performance by the south american.
Loverman 7 - Decent display. Looked sharp, decent movement and could've scored twice in the first half. Faded in the second but put in a very good shift.
Shola 6 - Average in general. Looked lethargic(probably had a slight injury problem), slow and clumsey. The ''usual'' Shola shall we say.

Subs :
Ireland 7 - Impressive cameo. Nearly scored a goal. Showed how technically gifted he is. Good movement, good passing and with a bit more match sharpness I'm sure he'll be quality for us!
Ranger 5 - Meh display by him. Nearly scored at the end though.

The general performance was very good IMO. 8/10. We played the better in the first half but United came back stronger than ever in the second and we had to defend much more.. with limited options this was a cracking display. IMO if we had Ben Arfa we could've nicked it or at least scored

Need a clinical and quick striker though with technical ability to get the best out of our midfield.

 

Colo and Tiote deserve a 10! They were immaculate!

 

Guthrie has shown why we shouldn't sell him. Very good squad player, on his day good enough for the first team. Still only young and if he improves his consistency can be a top player.

 

Agree except:

Krul 9 (great saves, and commanded the box which has been his weak point)
Collo 8 (led the defence well, and looked very solid.)
Barton 8 (great captain, led the team and ruled the midfield.)
Tiote 9 (stopped Manure in their tracks on many an occasion. MOTM)
Guti 7.5 (worked very hard, defended well (for once) and caused them a lot of problems)

Ranger did nearly score, but he should have hit the ball sooner than he didd, when he had a bit of space.

 

Krul 8 great early save against Hernandez and no mistakes

 

And Rooney!

 

Yeah. Maybe up him to a 8 and Tiote was good but not his best performance IMO. Colo had a solid display although didn't think he did anything spectacular or outstanding.

 

Krul 8 - Great save at the start of the game, kicking was good, good hands in general.

Simpson 7 - Took a risk at the end, got away with it, had a solid game.

Williamson 8 - I thought he was really good today, made a couple of vital challenges and won everything in the air.

Coloccini 8 - See above, passing was excellent as always.

Enrique 7 - Great run in the first half, had a solid game other than that, nothing special.

Barton 7.5 - super first half, led by example. Wasn't in the second half.

Guthrie 8.5 - Credit to him, he has his critics on here but he was excellent tonight, didn't put a foot wrong and looks fitter than he has all season. (Should renew his contract, low wages, great squad player)

Tiote 9 (MOTM) - Just Tiote, amazes me at times.

Gutierrez 8.5 - Best game of his season, turned it on big style. O'Shea couldn't get near him, good crosses as well in the first half.

Lovenkrands 7 - Made his good runs as normal, played a good game in the first half, sort of disappeared.

Ameobi 6 - Just average.


Ireland 6 - nearly a dream start, looks off the pace but that will come in time.

Ranger 5 - did nothing of note.



Crowd 10 - Superb, TV volume was turned down by my mum several times, great noise.

Pardew 9 - Game plan to go all out took Utd by surprise, we were unlucky not to score and fully deserved the point.

 

Colo, Willo, Tiote and Guthrie were all very good, Guthrie's starting to look good with a run of games in CM
