    Begovic / Krul
    Rafael / Mertesacker / Hangeland / Cole A / Clichy
    Lampard / Silva / Guthrie / Moses / Marveaux
    Aguero / Maiga / Torres

    (on bench for first gameweek)

    Strong defence - goals & assists in there, and decent clean sheets.

    bit weak in the midfield maybe, but I reckon Moses will be amongst the goals for Wigan, Guthrie will be the main man at Reading so will get game time, and Marveaux might get a couple of early games with Arfa / Cabaye looking doubtful.

    Maiga is a cheap striker option (only £5.5) and since he's Fat Sam's big summer buy so far, I'd expect him to get game time and a few goals at least...


    haven't gone for any Islamic players (ie Ba, Cisse) as Ramadan is only just finishing on Saturday, so any that have been fasting - or at the very least celebrating Eid - might not be 100% for a week or so.

    Mata is the same price as Dempsey, so just put him in. Wigan away and Reading home this week should bring in some points.
