I don't think you can say that Jackman can't cut it at left back,anyone here go to Cheltenham away last year, he simply owned Mcglashan, one of the league's trickiest wingers.
Getting man of the match against championship opponents in the last match and gets that pov? I think M.Allen has shown that he likes mobility on the flanks and with someone like Barrett coming into the squad, perhaps Fish isn't going to be so exposed. Left back is a problem still because we know how good a player Jackman is in the middle of the pitch but in Allen we trust. Great signings, I'm looking forward to seeing the pace tomorrow!
Martin Allen said on Radio Kent in his interview after the game that Myles Weston was signed on a free transfer and was good business done by Paul Scally and Andy Hesenthaler! Excellent as he still had a year left of his contract!
allen also tried to sign him a year ago but he would of cost a six figure sum, so yes good business on a free, i think everyone is surprised we managed to bring him to priestfield...just hope we have one or two more surprises to come into the club still
