Definitely fits the bill but he had the most misplaced passes in the French league last season. M'vila btw had the most completed passes in any major league last season.

Either way Wenger needs to get Song's replacement sorted quickly, we have a really tough run of games after Sunderland

Why is this even being discussed when wenger has said that he doesn't want to sign m'villa and i havent heard him talk about biglia either, oh and it seems that song will definately be off now http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19293825 maybe capoue but i'm not sure. We still seem to be in with a shout of getting sahin and miralles so we'll see what unfolds probably after the weekends fixtures. I seriously hope that song stays though, it seems that we can't ever go into a new season in a good position, players leave just as the season is starting and just when we are starting to get optimistic about our chances and the new signings etc players just leave. Hopefully we sign one or two more before the window shuts.

Biglia, just because M'vila has not impressed me whenever I've seen him, let AVB try to deal with him

Wenger says a lot of things including having no knowledge of cazorla. Sky reported yesterday we are in the running of biglia.

    Mvila out of the two.

    Both are goo players.l

Dont rate Capoue the guy actually has one of the worst pass completion rates in France.

M'Vila all the way. Has everything for the position in which he's needed. Great defending, great passing, great positioning, strong, fairly quick, won't be leaving for ACON.

Forgot about he bloody ACON. I suppose it's good that we do not lose another key player to that tournament, we might only lose Gervinho now.

Biglia; Anderlecht didn't lose a game in the league last season when he was playing; 16-5-0. Inferior league, but this is one hell of a player. Only problem he may be cup-tied for the CL.

Still I would prefer Sahin to either of them (he's not exactly a DM though)

I don't think we are getting neither, Wenger hinted today we are strong in the midfield dept, we have Frimpong and Wilshere to return to full fitness, so we are covered..... Sorry chaps.

It has taken us 5yrs to get Song to the player he is now, I remember at one point envying Chelsea with John Obi Mikkel and thinking why can't Song be like that...... Now it appears Mikkel's devpt has gone into reverse.... Still don't know what obsessions Barca have with our players, it is not like they really lacking in any department in their team. Reminds me of a wealthy man nicking things off a penniless man in the street!

I really don't know much about Sahin, apart from what I have seen on Youtube, whether he will make it in this league is another matter, ideal situation would be to ensure Song stays another season, still get Sahin or whoever in, if they can cut it, Song can go jump in January...... I feel the DM role is an area we are really lacking in, we have a lot of ballers in that area, but unfortuntely no water carriers...... Frimpong will probably get himself sent off every game, I think he is at where Song was 4yrs ago.

I heard M'Vila was a done deal - no way would AW allow Song to go without having a better replacement.
I think we just need to trust AW on this....

Yes he would- just look at the last Summer transfer window.

I cant think of the last time we went into a new season on a positive note.
