    Whiiiiit<yikes>

    Kelvin played well against Real Madrid but he does my sphincter no good whatsoever.

    I agree with the 4-5-1 for Europe and 4-4-2 mostly for the SPL but I'd go:

    ===========Forster===========
    Matthews=Rogne==Mulgrew=Izaguirre
    Broon=Kayal=Wanyama/Ledley=Commons
    ==Stokes/Samaras================
    ==================Hooper======

    Wanyama for away games/games against ankle booters like Hearts, Ledley for all others (possibly Ledley left instead of Commons with Wanyama in the middle for said Hearts/******s games)

    And for Europe

    ============Forster============
    =Matthews=Rogne==Mulgrew=Izaguirre=
    Forrest=Broon=Wanyama/Kayal=Ledley=Samaras
    ============Hooper=============

    Forrest running at folk in Europe will get us more joy and less injuries for James than in the SPL.

    Commons as impact sub - Kayal in for home games/games we need to keep the ball and Wanyama in away games/games where we need a big cunt.

    The beauty is that an extra Centre Half would free up Mulgrew for LB/LM particularly in Europe.

    Just one decent player would free us up to have so many different options.

    I'm willing to eat my words like I have done with Samaras if he proves me wrong but Kelvin Wilson is a nightmare thusfar.

    On the basis of last season, yes.

    But Kayal was injured for a good chunk of that.

    Beram will be our standout this season (barring injuries).

    The above words are to be marked, yes siree.
    Willing to take a pounding if this proves untrue.

    I still agree with Jiffy. Think Ledley is a class-act and is the most consistent midfielder we've had since Lambert.

    I'd put Ledley in the team every week if he was fit before any other Celtic's other midfielders.

    Ledley has bene one of the best peices of business done by Celtic in a long time... a free transfer as well!

    The most consistant player Celtic have had since he arrived.

    First name on the team sheet!

    Funny split.

    For some, Ledley is the first name down yet quite a few people have omitted him from their sides entirely.

    I like him (and I don't think Wanyama should be first pick :bandit:) but on his day, Beram is the gaffer.

    Anyone that left Ledley out (Dev, Eric etc) fancy explaining why they left him out?

    I'm assuming that you think that Kayal and Broon are better players?

    Ledley is, in my opinion, our best player. He's just ahead of Chuck and Matthews. He never fails to show up, and he can be relied upon to pay several positions well.

    I think Kayal is brilliant too - i'd love for him to have a standout season. i'd also have him starting most games - even if his duck for the Atheltico Madrid goal still grates. Sadly, with Wanyama coming along nicely, i'd have to say it would be Broony i would leave out, along with Ki, however Lennon seems set against that.
    Wanyama isn't as effective at CB as he is in midfield. For me he is still, along with Kayal, our best DM. I like Broony but i sometimes fail to see what he offers the team other than bite.

    Alas, chances are that, should they keep performing well, it'll be Kayal and Big Vic who will be the ones to leave in the near future.

    Aye, so I hope Lennon has him in the centre of midfield for the County game. Possession in the middle of the park will be vital in that game. Tiny pitch with the stands right on top of it like Tynecastle.

    You are consistent, Pud, stupid all the time. People usually talk about the Pope preaching. At Universities the Lecturer does the Lecturing.
    Your ability to encourage intelligent debate still knows no bounds.
    I do thing you are expecting a fool's pardon.

    In fact i change my mind I'm dropping kayal for ki.

    Ledley is brilliant but I prefer to play players in there natural position and there is no room for him. That is why mulgrew doesn't make it, although he gives a 110% and is better than wilson as a player, he is no centre half.

    All the times i saw Wilson play, he looked like he had a hand grenade up his arse. Chuck's grown in to being a CB and with international experience along with games in Europe and domestically, he'll really get better. He's still only 26, isn't he?

    Could Ledley not play on the left...?

    Mulgrew is more of a threat than Izzy, if your not going to play him at Centre back or left midfield I'd play him before Izzy.
