    Great looking additions.

Weston as I recall has buckets of pace and finally ticks that winger box we have had open for a couple of seasons now!

Barrett is a great defender and has gone through the promotion thing time and time again.

Weston is a good signing. Barrett adds much needed experience to the back line.

Still wondering if the Weston signing may signal a renewed effort to cash in on Jack Payne..

I have to say I am happy with signings I said we needed a defender with experience and another midfielder and as long as Payne is not going that is enough, brb will be happy that we now have a wide player.
With Weston signing we can put Jackman to left back full time so no Martin hopefully.
If I am right Weston is a left winger so that completes the midfield because we can play Whelpdale, Lee, Payne (If he stays) and Weston with Dack, Montrose and Allen as the back ups.
Defence could be Evans or Fish at right back (I would like Evans) Barrett, Essam and Jackman then we could have Fish Frampton, Davies Flanagan and Martin as back ups. As long as no one goes this would be just fine.

Scored against us when we lost 4-0 lots of pace but looking at his record not many goals .

I don't think the goals matter too much, he is a player who may come up with 5 a season but assists is what he will give to the team, I have seen him against us twice I believe and he seemed a good player. He is the sort of player who is League 1 level so is brilliant for League 2.

I think Barrett is a good signing as he knows what he is doing and with Frampton they can work together to develop the young defenders, I hope Frampton has a better season and Barrett has a good season and if they do I believe we will finish top 3. I did say the other day we needed 2 players (A midfielder and a defender) and we have done it. As long as no one goes this is a team which can go for the title, yeah we have not spent much but we did have a good base to start with and the players who we have brought in are the type who are good enough at this level.

Absolutely gobsmacked at the signing of Weston, merely because I'm extremely happy with it! Whenever I've watched Brentford before he's succeeded in turning the right back inside out and his pace is blistering.

Barrett will be a massive help to the likes of Essam and Davies and has plenty of experience in this league.

Massive well done to Martin and the team for bringing these players in!

Jackman isn't a viable option at LB. Before last seasons performances many fans were criticising Jackman due to his performances at LB, he is too small for a defender and get caught out time and time again by the long ball into the corners

Myles Weston, What a great signing! Pace to burn, will frighten many defenders! Barrett is a good experienced centre half! Brilliant stuff!

I agree with BSG, Jackman is not really a option for us at left back. He was very good in his first spell at left back but we were playing in League One with a better quality of football. Jacko is much better at playing in the midfield and if Payne does go then I would give him the holding role position. Still think that Joe Carter should be given a chance at Left Back.

Also, I am very pleased that we have signed a player of Weston's calibre and the fact he is a left winger Im over the moon with. We've seriously needed someone to play there since we lost Barcham.

If Payne goes and Jackman does take the holding midfield role then we need another left back as Martin just is not good enough as much as I would like to see him improve I doubt it will happen if it does I would be very happy to see him play.

trust me...we still need a first choice man signed to play at right back, fish is going to come unstuck fast and evans isn't nowhere near ready yet to play a full season.

i have a bad feeling that connor essam will be left in the background alot more this season, even though we know he's better than most defenders at the club. i hope thats not the case and all the youth get a chance to shine.

Hence why I said we should give Joe Carter a go, he is a left back and we won't ever know what he is like until he gets some game time. He may well could surprise us!

Fish does not convince and never has that is why I would have Evans at right back.
