I like proper argument with the craas, not some of the kids that come on here,,,,, BUT. I don't feel the need to even look at the Toon site. Why come on here guys? Be honest. x
Well for me, I enjoy talking with fans with differencing view points. There is Only So much smoke You can blow up each others arses about your own club which is what is Normally the case pre season. Talking about how our team will look, how signings will fit in, why we want this player, why we want rid of another. Not alot to chew on really. I've got nowt against any Mackem, i enjoy the patter.
No way will QPR go down !, Park, Wright-philips etc etc. Fulham minus dempsey will struggle if they sell him, and Arsenal right up there.
Pretty silly making league predictions before a ball has been kicked imo. Only positions for me that are secured are the two Manchester teams in the top two
Bored so as it stands right now with current squads i think 1 City 2 Man U 3 Arsenal 4 Chelsea 5 Liverpool (not sure why but think they'll click under BR) 6 us 7 Everton 8 Spurs (strikers?) 9 QPR 10 Fulham 11 Villa 12 Sunderland 13-17 other teams that i can't remember 18 Wigan 19 Norwich 20 Southampton
- honestly ? I come over here to see whats going on with your club, often just to read, however, I then repeatedly find us being referred to as scum and our club as lucky and utter nonsense like the guy who keeps asserting that 16 goals in a season for Ba is not very good and I simply have to respond. On our boards you'll find Sunderland are very rarely mentioned, but here an obsession with us is demonstrated. Take this thread for example, it was interesting, particularly as someone listed us as 4th in a prediction. I wanted to respond on topic (we won't come fourth), but then started reading a load of rubbish about luck, to which I had to respond. Then quite out of the blue I get called a bell-end, simply becasue I'm a Geordie, this just makes me want to annoy you guys now ... you get what you give and live and die by your own actions.
Look you thick scum twat, I said the fact Ba scored 16 up to Christmas and 1 from January to May was worrying? Don't you? It was a valid point turned into a slanging match. There are 2 or 3 canny mags that offer good debate but far too many that are way too thick to entertain even a small child. That's what has ruined this site completely.
What's worrying about it? We have Cisse up front banging them in and who the **** are you to say Ba won't score goals again when HE'S the focal point of our attack? Knob
I can say what the **** I like you cock licking ****wit. Now get back to ****ing off to Jeremy Kyle with all the other craa scum.
Bang on Tash. We had one of the best defences in the league till injury struck again. All ifs and buts though, you finish where you deserve to every season.
I think we ALL want a multi team forum but with that comes responsibility to maintain the debate. Too many mags have just decided this is a forum to have a fight on and that has reduced the forum to a farce. It has reached a very low point and just doesn't attract the interesting posts it once did, just lots of craa bell ends who need something to do in between watching Jeremy Kyle and ****ing off all day. Now we have mags coming on a complaining about the ABUSE THEY GET? Its friggin hilarious.
First time I posted on this board was in this thread, was having a reasonable debate with yourself regarding both teams seasons last year, then some clown goes completely off topic asking if we sacked Bobby just because we disagreed about the definition of luck. For me that is very petty, ever since the Robson stuff this thread has gone more and more off topic due to a Sunderland poster. I'm not for a second suggesting some of our lot are whiter than white but it's currently at the stage where even the genuine Newcastle posters aren't given the time of day which isn't really in line with the concept of this forum/site.
The problem is that some of your lot want good debate and a lot more just want to create a squabble. The latter have ruined it for the former and the only ones to blame are the mag spoilers on your side as if they didn't come on here, our fans wouldnt have to react to them would they? Rather than look at sunderland fans, posting stuff on a sunderland forum, look at the mags wanting a fight posting antagonistic stuff on a SUNDERLAND forum. However open this is, its only going to work if pathetic little mag tit ****s like some of the above, just stay the **** away. That's up to the Mag mods to monitor of course but its not helped when some of those are the actual perpetrators. Many of my good friends are mag season ticket holders and yet we can both enjoy taking the piss and debating the issues without the abuse. Its not all about hating mags its about hating the simple ****wits that are ruining a once good forum.
your total wrong there i for one enjoy 8 mag posters, problem is when they come for a debate your bell end element comes also
My thoughts on the points raised in the thread: I think we would have finished 3rd if Taylor had been fit all season. We had Mike Williamson playing for most of the season, and he is horrific, easily cost us at least 5 points that Taylor wouldn't have. However, we all know football is a squad game not a team game, and if you're cover isn't up to scratch, you finish where you deserve. Doesn't mean we wouldn't have finished 3rd if Steven had been fit all season though. Ba's lack of goals is worrying. He doesn't seem to be able to play left wing very well, or link up with Cisse well, which is a problem. However, with the extra games this season, there should be plenty of chances for him to play in the striker role without Cisse, as we rotate our squad, so he still has a key part to play in the season. We weren't lucky last season, not one bit. HOWEVER, what we benefited from were Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea teams that under performed dramatically. We have improved from last season with the signing of Anita, but the above mentioned teams have improved more and I see us struggling to match them this year. Liverpool and us will be very close to each other imo. Although a point in our favour is that either Tiote or Ba + Cisse will not be leaving for the ACoN this year. Sir Bobby Robson. I have to admit, I'm not saying I wanted him gone, but I wasn't averse to his sacking. Even the great men eventually have to step aside, and imo it was time for him to go and in hindsight I still agree with the decision. Most NUFC fans I knew wanted him to stay like, but I'll be honest, I was well more annoyed when Keegan went the second time around. As for my league table, I'm going to make the assumption that you sign a central midfielder, a left back and Steven Fletcher, and no clubs make any real ground breaking transfers: 1)Man City 2)Chelsea 3)Arsenal 4)Man U 5)Liverpool 6)Spurs 7)Newcastle 8)Everton 9)QPR 10)West Ham 11)Sunderland 12)Wigan 13)Fulham 14)Norwich 15)Southampton 16)Villa 17)Reading 18)Stoke 19)Swansea 20)West Brom
Assuming Newcastle and Sunderland come 1st and 2nd respectively, i think the best of the rest will be.. 3rd. Man City 4th. Man U 5th. Chelsea 6th. Arsenal 7th. Liverpool 8th. Spurs
InCestria you're talking **** as usual I have never seen you interact with a Newcastle fan on here without it resulting in a slagging match instigated by you. Stop being such a hypocrite. Knob.
