  2. Up to Xmas, I reckon it will be us, then you, then Arsenal.

In the New Year, RDM will be sacked, and the Russian will spend an absolute mint getting in Pepe Guardiola to rescue your season.

Due to Levy's inability to sign any strikers (yet again), we will fade in the last third of the season, and you'll end up topping us by a couple of points.

I'm not sure if Fulham will be strong enough this season to trounce Arsenal, but I cannot see the Gunners doing much this season. They are looking more and more like a lame duck waiting to have its neck wrung.

    That's my unbiased assessment.

IF and it's a HUGE if, our owner doesn't fire the manager when we are only 4th or 5th by Christmas, then we could and should finish as top London club.
Arsenal a very close 2nd and Spurs right up their backside for 3rd.
Considering we haven't got a clue who will be in our squad, or what our best 11 will be, even this is a pretty hopeful guess. Expect a slow start from us and at least 10 games before we get ourselves sorted.
More importantly, I wasnt too impressed with Citeh last week, and would not be suprised if Man Utd walk it this year, with us in a ding dong battle for 3rd or 4 th.

    Chelsea or Arsenal.

I'd have said Arsenal if they kept RVP and Song but i'd favour us now without those two.

I'm surprised you placed the Spanners so high in that list!

    As it stands: -

    Chelsea
    Arsenal
    Spurs

Spurs are at least 2-3 signings away from being a top 4 club again. Ade, Modric and King will be massive losses. Arsenal have lost RVP but have made some solid signings which has probably balanced out RVP leaving, just about. They also have a much better manager than Spurs.

We will probably start slow but a team with Torres, Mata, Oscar, Marin, Hazard, Rameires going forward should finish top 3.

I think they'll be below you. Didn't want you to feel all grandiose having someone below you on the list.

  17. Shouldn't you remove RVP from your list of "London" strikers?

  18. Nah. We still have more than enough quality to cause some real upset.

Listen to that powerful engine rev!
