Yes, the mighty Shire will be visiting a packed Ibrox tomorrow as Rangers look to signal their intentions after being held to a respectable draw at Peterhead last week.

East Stirlingshire is a pretty misleading name and leads people to think that the club is based in Stirling and not Falkirk, but according to Wiki, the club was founded in 1880 as Bainsford Britannia!

    Early history

Although East Stirlingshire's official date of formation is 1881, their origins can be traced to the previous year, when Bainsford Bluebonnets Cricket Club formed a football section under the name Bainsford Britannia.[SUP][5][/SUP] In November the following year the footballers broke away to form a separate club under the name of East Stirlingshire. The first match was against Falkirk's second eleven, with the latter winning 7–0

Anyway, I'll be going tomorrow with my son, I've got him a season ticket at £70, and he'll go to every game this season if he continues to not eat up his dinner

Supposedly Rangers have sold over 30k season tickets which is pretty good considering the circumstances, I guess we truly are the PEOPLE

Could this be the only "Taig-Free" thread on the Rangers board?

Coincidentally Alex Ferguson started his managerial career at East Stirling.

Ferguson was also a popular footballer at Ibrox until the huns found out he was married to a pape and quickly got rid of him.

It's not well known but Rangers FC were a bigoted institution before they ceased to exist.

Why do you feel the need to keep mentioning it every time you get the chance?

Ferguson got punted 'cos he left big Billy McBungle unmarked at a corner in the Scottish Cup final then Celtc scored and went on to gape us 4-0.
