I think he is more reasonabe than most and is why I am asking him.

i have mentioned it before but the people who silenced the racists at Celtic park came from the support.
The people who stood against the old board were from the support.

He said that he would love it if this kind of thing died out. Not enough to do anything about it, not enough to engage anyone about it.

I'm not having a go, it just seems to me that we are told that this is a minority. If so, the majority is not saying a damn thing to change it.

It sounds like a majority. Someone (Apart from Timmy) must be placing some credence in this stuff and seemingly nobody is prepared to break ranks and tackle the subject.

I said I wouldn't do anything on a forum full of fannies like yourself <ok>. You don't know me so I don't know how you can possibly comment on what I may or may not do away from this forum.

I can comment on what you do away from this forum because you told me.

    So my point stands.

Your point does not stand. Did I really tell what I do away from this remtard-infested forum in that statement? Erm..no.

Please tell me what I should be outspoken on amongst my fellow Rangers fans.

As far as I can see Loyalist support is no worse than IRA support. Pride in being British is no better than pride in celebrating being Irish. Who am I to tell anyone what to think on these matters. The only fascist thing I've ever seen at the football was the BNP passing out leaflets - they were ignored as far as I could see. Even they have a right to an opinion no matter what I or anybody else thinks.

You are passing judgement on me without knowing anything about me.

The best thing I can do is to educate my kids correctly. If everybody did this we would irradicate any problem and ensure football rivalries are only about football and not following the faux-religious and politically intolerant views currently on display in Glasgow.

You are one of the most intolerant and argumentative posters on this forum. You are so blinkered that you can only see your own point of view. You think it's OK to hold 'political' protests at a football ground because you agree with the opinion - what about the fans that don't agree with it and are there only for the football?

And how have you personally gone out your way to discourage the sectarian element in your support? Please do tell so we can all learn.

How can you be bigoted because you don't like a particular player/football team?

    Are Rangers in Leggo's mind a creed/race/religion?

He along with that other tosser, Agent Orange Junior, seem to be of the opinion that anyone who does not agree with someone else's view/opinion is a "Bigot". The sad thing is that Charlie Green appears to agree.

Charlie Green will agree with anything if it endears him to the "fans" who are lining his pockets with their season ticket money.

Um, this is the ACTUAL spin being painted by Huns on Twitter.

To be a bigot has nothing to do with creed/race etc. - they're now claiming that to be opposed to an organisation or representative of a group of people is bigotry <doh>

    From Merriam Webster dictionary

    From Wiktionary

However, if you revise the meaning and use the word "educate" while you do it, people swallow it.

Using "educate" on forums and social media is fast outstripping "well said" as my least favourite somersault of modern English.

When someone says "educate you" or just "educate" on an online forum, they mean "persuade into my view on something subjective".

    Does my diddies right in.

Reading their posts it appears that they believe that Rangers (supporters, club, players) stand for the same political and religious ideals. Which we don't. So to use the word 'bigotry' is a load of ****e.

Let's all just come out and admit we're bigots for supporting one or the other side of the Old Firm?

If we just all take the decision that being either a Celtic or Rangers supporter automatically qualifies you for a lifetime bigot membership then pishy arguments like these will never happen.

You're all bigots; in some fashion or other.

P.S. I'm no a bigot though, just the rest of yie,

    Yes, **** all.

    That is up to you. Perhaps you could start with where this discussion began;

Nobody ever said that pride in being Irish/British was better/worse than each other. The reason the BNP were there was so their ideals and ideas can take root. You can say you would love to see this kind of thing die out but this kind of thing won't die out unless a significant number of you at least address this to try and get rid of it. Passive acceptance is what is going on there.

    |I am passing no judgement. I asked you why don't you do something about it.

    Yes

And you are passing judgement on me without knowing me. I am an argumentative poster. I am certainly absolutely and categorically not intolerant. If that is some **** you are throwing about to get a rise, then fine. If you genuinely believe that then you are not paying much attention. I do think it is ok to espouse political opinion. If I don't agree with it, I engage it. I don't walk on by and let it take root.

And I do have concern for the fans that are there only for the football. On balance I think we are getting it right. It is a constant process of re-evaluation. I have said that before and I'll say it again now.

I haven't encountered a sectarian element in our support.

I have encountered racism and I have addressed it with the individuals involved and we all agreed that they would shut the **** up.

Sorry, I tell a lie. I heard a sectarian song once outside a pub in London before a pre season game. It was being sung by a child in a pub. On that occasion I did nothing as I was taken aback and did not really know what to do or who to address it with. That was a long long time ago and I would like to think I would be able to address the situation better these days.

I do not see sectarianism in my home life, with my friends, family or even those that sit around me at Ibrox. I drink in a mixed pub. Why would I go out my way to mix with low lifes?

You are intolerant of any other view point either on here or on GC. You're one of these folk you meet in life that's never wrong and keep going and going until folk give up talking to you. And yet again you try to come across as an internet hardman. 'I confronted them and we all agreed they'd shut the **** up' <laugh> Sounds like a poor line from a Jason Statham movie.

The fact that you discussed meeting up for a fight with a random poster kind of says a lot about you. You're trying to come across as some intellectual hardman but you're coming across as a fool.

Maybe if you lived in Glasgow you would see the sectarian element within you support. It exists I can assure you. I have seen it first hand and narrowly avoided being a victim of it. Take your green and white tinted blinkers off.

Well someone at Ibrox is doing it?

Incorrect. I am happy to reevaluate my position on anything. I am happy to concede when I am wrong. More than happy.
As for the hard man ****e. That is just bollocks. I am far from it.

Nope. I was taking the piss. I thought that was obvious. Evidently not.

I never said it didn't exist. You asked a specific question which I answered.

What songs sung at Ibrox do you deem sectarian? Out of interest...

You're incapable of changing your viewpoint. Your views are so strong and entrenched a lobotomy would be needed.

As for the internet hardman -

'I engaged them and we all decided they would shut the **** up'

I'm not saying I don't believe this happened. Well actually I am. Sounds like the wee kid at school trying to act tough in front of his peers.
