constantly giving the ball away, diving, running into blind alleys and generally being a selfish show-pony ****er. he's been like it the past couple of months to be honest.
He hasn't been the same since the Liverpool game. The injury which he sustained has resulted in him playing like this.
He was **** in the game a week prior to the 'dippers game. Nani hasn't been all that great for a while. I've always said he's inconsistent and therefore, overrated.
It's got nothing to do with that tiny "injury"... He's just inconsistent and, at times, very selfish..
Nani has been poor, virtually every single game in this calendar year. His selfishness is something that has always bothered me but when he is so bad that he also doesn't create any chances, it gets beyond frustrating. Play for the team and earn your right to be selfish. You aren't doing that now Nani, that is for sure.
nani has been poor agree hernandez was poor- will anyone say so? no because he cant be criticized as he cost 7m. I am worried now that berba wont get a look in. We need a player who can hold the ball up badly.
Hernandez was more unlucky than poor imo. He was clearly our biggest goal threat and made many, many good runs. I'll give you an example. When Rooney hit the keeper on the head, Hernandez was in for a tap in for the centre. He would have had an open goal. Yes, he should have done better with his early chance but he was still a threat. Also, he's limited in his build up play, and again that showed today, but he always tries to do what is right by the team and keeps making those runs, even though he knows he won't see the ball a lot of the time. When he gets the ball , he does his best to contribute to the build up. I'd rather see that than a more technically gifted footballer cut inside and blast over the bar whilst ignoring his teammates, as Nani seems to have made his party trick.
