    This is the same skysports that announced a month ago we'd signed buttner... Agreeing a fee isn't completing the deal- if Ramirez knocked back spurs before... Not saying I wouldn't love this to happen, just try not to get too carried away yet!

    He is a world class player who is good enough to play for any team in Europe.

    He is left footed but can use both and is also decent in the air. He can play on either wing as well as off of a main striker. He has an eye for goal but is far from prolific and is more of a provider. He has an incredible first touch and has the ability to go past people with ease. He is far from the finished article but at 21 he has plenty of time to improve.

    If it goes through it would be an unbelievable signing.

    What's the deadline for a Player to sign what with us having a game on
    Sunday. I know with Saturday kick offs it's 12.00 on a friday so wondering if it would be 12.00 on a saturday for a
    Sunday game?

    The offer? According to player 1 million signing on fee and 2 million euros a year...about 32K a week. Not sure the Don will like that bandied around the dressing room.

    Thing is I couldnt get my head around it at first but more I think about it, we are upwardly mobile, and Cortese in his early days at the helm said saints will never get relegated whilst he is here. Huge statement I thought but to make that statement he knows things we dont. IE how much would be invested. Dont forget we have also bid £6m for phillips and CB will surely be joining (possibly on loan maybe ??).

    Also, I bet Man City thought it was laughable when they were first linked with Robinho years ago... and looked how things have panned out for them now.........

    He has been quoted saying they already have discussed personal
    Terms so don't think if it was to fall through it would do there.
