Bendtner helped our young strikers. <ok>

He managed to make Whickam look slower than himself. :p

    Got to agree mate.
Looking at Fletcher's goals to Saha's most of Fletcher's are abysmal defending, Saha is capable of creating goals as well as tapping them in.

Ive always rated him. Clever player. Helped spurs tear us a new one last season. Couldn't do nothing with him.

If the fletcher bid that was knocked back is true then there is obviously money there for you lot to spend. I've got a feelin that once fletcher is in other signings will fall in to place for you. It's clear that MON's persistence in trying to get fletcher is his priority and is waiting on that before he moulds the rest of the squad. Wouldn't worry just yet. Bruce's way of bringing in 10 players a season wasn't working, maybe one or two signings now and work with the squad you have will be beneficial to you.

We have a team that wont go down. We should be moving now - after 5 years, to 9th?, 8th, 7th?

You jammy twats did it last season.

    It's my time - I DESERVE IT!

Wholesale changes are never the way forward.

A couple of class, well researched signings each window is the way to do it (imo). Progression. I've no doubt this will happen. Being a Sunderland supporter/me, I expect the worst. Still that makes all the good times so much better.

Just as long as we fill the gaps of the team that we know nee filling & I will be happy until January.... Unless they've been filled by my last plasterer!

Aye, I get what your saying. We gambled on getting shot of the "big personalities" and bringing in younger cheaper imports. It payed off but could of easily swung the other way.

Speaks French and a benefit when playing with Sess so let's hope for a 'bon' season with the 'deux' of them on 'feu'.

Is Saha going to be ready for your game against us on Saturday? If not, you're looking very thin up front.

He has declared himself fit if selected and will play imo.

You lot don't have Henry and RVP to pull you out of the ****e this year in the last-minute. Lol

You will be putting a lot of faith in lads making their EPL debuts, albeit quality players and they are in for a baptism of fire.

    Could be interesting.
