Faurlin knew nothing about the number change and isnt exactly happy, not good man management for Hughes.

I think we can safely say we wont be signing the likes of Bullard any more, well at least I hope not.

Agree. Can't blame him, it's not like SWP have deserved the "promotion" <doh>

I will be both amazed and gutted if MH can't see what a vital player Faurlin will be for us in the Premier League!

Most managers have at least one player with whom they have a "blind spot". It would appear that SWP is Mark's!!

It is, some players wont even sign unless they can get their number. Some players like HH are fine giving it up but others have an attachment to it.

I wore 11 for years but then a new player signed on the condition he could wear 11, now I wasnt happy but I wasnt going to kick up a fuss so I chose 10, I would have been pissed off being 32 though!

Maybe they will ask to swap back or maybe it was a mistake.

Yeah I'm a bit shocked actually. Could it be that he isn't fit enough to play any part in our campaign up to Jan? But he should still be given a number even if he's not part of the 25. Would love to know wtf is going on.

Faurlin will be in there (just not with his old number).

He could have 666 but would still make the 25.

    Fear not lads.
