Sorry to put a personal message on here but Melbourne Tiger is on his way I think and I just wanted to let him know I will meet him in the bar at holiday inn express, St Stephens on Friday night at 8 o clock. I'm off to sort out our seats for the KC tomorrow for all the other ex pats flying in do you need me to get tickets with us all too.
Having a ball in Hull even if the weather today is a bit cold and damp, enjoyed the Luke Campbell welcome home last night at city hall. Anybody off here that fancies a pint or two with some of us refugees from far away feel free to come by and say hello, I'll be the one wearing last seasons shirt with FIRTH on the back.

It's not really a personal message when you've invited everybody.

Top for anyone who fancies a drink with the exiled tigers tomorrow night, even if it's just a quick one on the way into town for the night.

Does anyone know if Chants Ave is still being dug up outside Avenues pub? Could be problematic on Satdee.

It is I'm afraid - it's completely clear now from roughly Marlborough Avenue down to Spring Bank West, but they're just passing Westbourne with all the diggers. I couldn't be more precise, because It's a couple of days since I was there - but that is the area they're up to.

Is it passable as a pedestrian when it's busy?

On foot won't be a problem - they're not touching the pavements. They're just laying some pipes down the southbound side of the road. But they do have a contra-flow in place, so any driving in the area will be a twat. Especially considering they were still digging up Spring Bank West near Walton St last I saw.
