simple question, where do you think we'll end up? what division will we be in? will be interesting to see what the general opinion is of the city fans... i'm going for 2nd..... a good defence and the attack has been drastically improved, scoring goals was a big weakness last season but now we have the players to play teams off the park and win games 4-0 like we did when bellers was last here....
I have gone for Play-offs, not promoted - sorry guys, another season of finger nail biting coming right up Of course the reality is I have no bloody idea how you are going to do but pretty sure the play offs are the minimum you can expect, once again.
We never do things the easy way so Play Offs - Promoted for me. After all our second home will miss us if we don't visit this season.
I think we'll finish top 4. Feeling bullish so voted automatic. That's put the kiss of death on it. Swamp, we played people off the park and won 4-0 or crawled under a rock and lost by 2 or 3. I think we'll get a few 3 or 4 nil wins but the games we lose will be fewer and by the odd goal. Another tight league this season but we're better equiped for it. If Blake stays and we get a left back I think we'll be there or there abouts. After seeing Bellamy's cameo last night I hope MM has got video of him for the others to watch so they can pick the right passes and make the right runs. I've a feeling Etien and HH will get amongst the goals this season with Bellamy providing the ammo.
I've gone playoffs promoted. Although i'm hoping its automatic i can't deal with another set of playoffs!!
I really think we have a great chance of an automatic spot this season. I believe anything less will be deemed a failure by the board and MM may be out the door.
I think we're going up as champions. In many ways it looks a tougher season than ever; so many big names in there. However I can't believe that we're going to go through any more agony. What I can't stand though — sorry, this is a real bee in my bonnet — is describing the Premiership as 'the promised land'. It makes us sound like some weirdo cult members. In many ways, the championship is what British football is about. Yes, I want to see the best players and I want promotion, but to be honest, there are times when Premiership football makes me feel a little bit sick.
Automatics Promotion (i hope) believe we now have the strength in depth we lacked at certain times last season. Bellamy will of course bring passion and belief, Helguson will bring strength to a good attacking unit, Mutch and Kim Bo will bring us that creativity to the team with of course Whitts. Best thing i have seen this pre season is how sharp Conway has looked. Cant believe Cowie and Mason might not get into the first team. A centre back to put pressure on Hudson and Turner and maybe another left back to put pressure on Taylor and we may not even need to bring in any loan players. Feels like xmas eve im getting very excited now
I have gone relegated in the hope that when I have got it completely wrong in the past I looked back at all the evidence and thought the only logical reason left as to why we hadn’t gone up is cos I said we would LOL!!!
Still cant beat his man tho. Tries hard but ends up running in circles. 2nd Place for the Bluebirds. Can see it being a nervous race to the line....
It's rare that anyone gets out of this league easily but I think autos should be very much the target though.
You beat me to it. We've messed about with the play offs too often. We have the players this time to go up as champions.
Champions because we have a ridiculous midfield, the work ethic of Bellamy... and because I DONT GIVE A DAMN!!!!!
If we don't go up this season I don't know if we ever will! Been following the BLUEbirds now for over 30 years and I really did think we could have made it a couple of years ago. With this squad, the financial backing and a good manager I'm going for automatic promotion as I don't want to live through another play-off heartache.
