I can't believe anyone would submit a picture of themselves looking a complete twat, just to win a pretend squad number.
Does that mean he will actually have a squad number? I wonder if this is why the number 18 was left blank?
I think it's more worrying that a grown man had a Tiger onesie to be pictured in than the picture was submitted.
lol some of you don't half sound bitter and jealous. He's obviously got a sense of humour, is a massive Tigers fan, and now thanks to having the ability to laugh at himself he's being presented with a shirt featuring his name and official squad number for the 2012/13 season, will be photographed ‘signing’ for the Tigers, get the chance to meet the team, appear on the team photo and be the subject of a feature in a forthcoming matchday programme. I'd say that's a pretty good result for a proper fan of the club who'll end up with some pretty amazing mementos for having a laugh at himself. I don't know the guy, but seriously, lighten the **** up and good luck to him.
To be honest I thought the competition was for kids, it's all a bit lame being a grown man and getting to pretend to sign for the club...etc. Each to their own I guess, I'm sure he's thrilled.
Its a bit lame getting a free shirt with his name on it, a unique squad number for a season, meeting the whole team, having his photo taken with them in an "official type" photo and the chance to appear in the program? Oh yeah sure, I agree, what the **** is a grown man doing wearing a football top when he clearly couldnt run 90 mins around a pitch too eh? Haha.
Like I said each to their own, I just assumed the competition was aimed at the kids, clearly I'm the only one who thought that.
I'm with madhog here, the pretend squad number is a bit sad but free memorabilia is decent, it's just a bit of fun. I wouldn't mind having a team photo with just me in on the wall in my house.
