I have heard and seen a number of posters lamenting the backward, insular and bigoted views that folk like Leggo have but they never seem to do anything about it. Or even discuss it. There seems to me at least to be an unwritten rule that Bares won't criticise each other. The "ignore it and it will go away" philosophy hasn't worked so well in the past. I don't see why it should now.
There is no discussion over leggo as far as I'm concerned. In anycase why should I force my opinions on people or tell them what to think? Just because I disagree or disapprove of their opinions doesn't make my point of view any more or less relevent than theirs. People that I mix with in life make their own decisions and form their own opinions. I'm sure you're outspoken at the intolerant, insular and bigotted viewpoints of fellow Celtic fans .
I am not saying you should force your opinions on people, I am saying that it would be worth at least having a dialogue. That never ever seems to happen. There never seems to be even a discussion about it. And yes, I am outspoken on intolerant bigoted viewpoints held by people in the Celtic support.
Questioning the logic of Leggo is a task for a team of highly qualified anthropologists, not some fannies on a forum.

You can engage with the mentals but cannot reason with them. They're like you to some extent. Rigid perspective and rather argumental. They also like to solve things by challenging people to fights
To no extent are they like me. The long and the short of it is that you are going to sit on your hands and yet again allow the racists and bigots free reign.
To be fair to T, he's a bit of a wum at times and we never exactly hit it off right away but he is one of the more sensible and reasoning Gers posters. Just saying.
