I flip sides on this discussion all the time Right now my opinion is: It's wrong to let mentally ill people die If you want to die you must be mentally ill
"The Universe is a single life comprising one substance and one soul." So suicide, like murder, hurts us all, but mercy killing may be appropriate in some circumstances.
What sectarian ****? You are confusing politics and religion for the simple reason that you know **** all about it. You think only religious people are against abortion?
In this country? Yes. You have to be an idiot to be against abortion, and most idiots are religious in some way, so yes. You follow Celtic because...? Nothing to do with the ****ty catholic link with Ireland?
You think I follow Celtic due to it being founded by an Irish Brother 125 years ago? If I was religious I would say so. Why wouldn't I? Most religious people I know are not slow to bang on about it. I don't think I've ever spoken about religion on here and if I have it would be to say I think it's a lot of ****e. Stop making assumptions due to your own prejudices, it's actually doing the reverse of what you want it to do.
I suppose total disability and a horrendous amount of constant pain could lead to you becoming mentally ill enough to want to end it.
If you were in constant pain, it wouldn't be insane to want it to end. It you knew the pain was going to continue for as long as you remained alive, then the rational thing might be to wish for the release that only death would bring.
I wondered how long it would take, my money wasn't on you though. You seriously need to take a good look at yoursef, well maybe not eh.
