You really just countered your own arguement with the 'games are won and lost in the midfield' and then basically claiming United have a **** midfield. I could point out the massive flaw in your post but if you can't see it yourself then whats the point.
I'm sorry, did I cross over to an alternative board because for a while I was under the impression this was on the Liverpool board for LFC fans to add comments on the transfer of RVP? Anyway, to touch on what has happened if you have just joined us, the thread was started following the transfer of RVP to Utd. The OP wanted to know if this was a worthy acquisition for Utd given the fee involved, wages and age of said player. reasonable comments were made then UIR who has been camped on the LFC board since birth piped up with his random bu!!**** (as per normal) and claimed vistory for havign 'derailed' the thread by starting to talk about RVP. Then goes on to spout more rubbish before his 'Chuckle brother' freind came on board making claims of me saying City were going to win the premier league with last seasons team. At this point I request proof of where I had made such a claim only to be added to the 'ignore' list of UIR...Join us next time for UIR against the world!
Am I looking through blacked out glasses because I don't see wher I have countered my own arguement, I was stating that you need a strong midfield to win games. Winning games helps to win titles. Utd don't have a string midfield, neither do they have a strong tackiling midfielder...What is so hard to figure out there?
The Man Utd decline is there but its currently being disguised by the the Manager. The squad needs major inverstment but because the players play the Fergie-way they have been able to carry the ever increasing dead wood. The real test will be when Fergie leaves, it will be a test for the owners too as they will have to invest heavily to secure another top class manager.
I'm still waiting for Swarbs to respond to the chucle brothers comment. Should be good. I'm expecting at least half a page with loads of multi quotes.

Swarbs will quote everyone when he gets into an argument, it's been funny watching this thread but it seems to have gone quiet now and I can't think of anything to get it going again.
The fact that United have won plenty of games and titles whilst supposedly having a **** midfield is what counters your points.
In that case, the fact that Liverpool have beaten Utd numerous times over the past couple of seasons means we must be better than you. You can't have this both ways KE mate!
Comparing winning titles over the course of a season to winning one off games shows how weak your point is though
