Doesn't matter if he's playing in the Highland League. As soon as he's on the park the whole of Scotland should be right behind him. Still, it gives Charlie more ammo for his meeting with the Beaks.
Not read the whoel thread as I assuem it's a pile of overreactionary ****e ... But has it been mentioned that Black's an ex Jambo and the game was at Easter Road? Maybe it was Hibs fans giving him dogs abuse for being an Embrahun and now a Newcohun?
Can I just say something here? [NSFW]Maurice Johnston? Better player than I first thought, yeh for sure.[/NSFW]
There's no legislating for teuchtars ... So, because some fans boo at a Hun player at a scotland match this gives Green credence for his paraniod ramblings? Really???
Ferguson and McAllister are the only ones I can recall. But I've never heard a player being booed by his own fans even before he set foot on the park. We've reached a new low here.
Maybe they wee shouting Boo-Urns!
I don't buy that for a minute. If that was the case wouldn't fans have to boo every player that is a rival of their own club? My guess is that there was more to it than him simply being an ex Hearts player.
It's all good. This siege-mentality that Penn State have used for years isn't such a bad thing after all. The Rangers support have been re-energized and we'll have the last laugh - you can bank on that
Anyway, 3rd Division players should not be getting picked for the national side ... they are not playing at an acceptable level. What next, ****in Pollok players winning caps!
Did Webster & Berra get booed? Hard to call. What if Rangers were to go all the way in the league cup / Scottish cup or get to the final. Would that be seen as an acceptable level? Would that then warrant a call up?
