Just returning to the original topic of the thread for a moment, I think Brownie may have approached Garcia about a move to Preston.
Preston would have to stay up for that surely? Hasn't Pearson played Garcia in every game he's been available for (allowing for him building up fitness before his comeback).
I would be quite sad to see him go. He used to/still has a lot of haters among the tigers fans but I think he does a great job. The mail said we had offered him another year, I hope he takes it.
Just read that Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane) has died, aged 63. R.I.P. Probably the best Dr.'s assistant, she "bridged" both Pertwee's and Baker's Dr.'-hoods! Bit freaky as the story said she died yesterday, and what were we talking about????
Brownie would almost certainly have to pull off a great escape for Garcia to be interested, but I think he'll have a go at signing him anyway.
Peter Davidson was good I thought, it was Colin Baker and Slyvester McCoy after that. Peter Davidson was my Doctor, he's the 1st one I remember really. Quite ironic that his daughter and Tennant are now together Anyway back to the title of the thread, for Garcia it was a goal, based on how many chances he's not put away we should be grateful he scored
Plus coming back in the more recent series and her own series The Sarah Jane Adventures. Pretty shocking as no-one knew she was ill. RIP
