To me this transfer has made it clear that Arsenal are a business. I understand that Arsenal are going to sell a player who doesn't want to sign a contract but to sell the best striker in the world (based on last season) to a rival is a move based on money and not on football. Wenger seems to be on board with this business model he is not interested in moving Arsenal into title contenders he is only interested in the boards desire to finish in the top 4. The business model has worked so far but what happens if they drop out of the top 4?
That is probably the only thing keeping Wenger in a job. We're getting stronger, and we won't think twice about taking their place.
Ahem... Take it your not familiar with this Liverpool fan. He thinks you're everton, for the record. Zingy will explain it for you
Anyway some absolute bollocks in this thread. I worry that some of you actually believe it, I really do. Ah well, you know what they say about mental illness
Wriggle out of this then: Our team against the weaker teams at old trafford haha. 9-0 Even an attack of ----------RVP------- --------Rooney----- Kagawa-Rooney-Nani Nani----Kagawa-Valencia with 2 CM's
The **** are you on about? I just said its 2 teams.... ----------RVP----- Kagawa-Rooney-nani --------Rooney------ Nani---Kagawa--Valencia with 2 CM for both versions. Should I start doing everything in baby talk to bring it down to some peoples levels or are some of you idiots going to grow up some time soon? From now on I will reply to each idiot in the appropriate manner, people who engage in the discussion at hand will get a sensible reply. Banter and wind ups will be kept to the appropriate thread. Have an issue with it? Dont give a ****
I'm just asking. Who would your midfielders be? You need a ball winner, so that discounts Carrick, Scholes,Giggs and Anderson, so its Cleverly and a n other. But what happens if Cleverly gets injured?
Dont even bother, seriously 4231. Its a daily thing, no matter what I write some of the LFC fans and District Line try and pick at it. They fail, miserably every single time but carry on regardless. I admire their determination tbf Like the first post I made in the thread, you would of noticed a number picked up on it, rather than discussing the matter at hand they decided to become wums. I get a lot of complaints from these people, ironic isnt it
Its carrick and anyone of 7 option we have. Carrick, Cleverly and Scholes probably the main options with the rest needing a little more time to learn or recover.
If RVP has half trhe season for United that he did for Arsenal, the title race will be good again this year. Great bit of business by Arsenal though, that kind of fee for a 29 year old that they have had nine seasons out of at an initial cost of £2.75m, if they can reinvest that they could boltser their starting 11 niceley.
ManUre now have a strike force that almost rivals Man City but the rest of the team doesn't! lol Their midfield is the weakest of the top 8 without a doubt! I think they still have more work to do in the transfer window yet. It makes a change from the duffers they signed last summer, these are the kind of players that 'the richest club in the world' should be signing lol not the like of Jones and Smalling :S
(puts on his safety helmet and covers his ears in anticipation of the ****e UIR is 100% guaranteed to spout in response to this)...Do you know what you've just done?! PMSL
