Just because I have fond memories of City's cup game against Liverpool in 1989 I will go for Barry Davies, everytime we was televised it a always seemed to be him, and now when I hear him I just think of Boothferry Park, guess I still miss the place :(

He couldn't tell the difference between Billy Askew and Billy Whitehurst.

    Well they did look alike:eek:

Brian Moore for me, fond memories of past World Cups.

The worst one is Clive Tyldelsey. He is truly unbearable.
All he did tonight was slag off Adam
Johnson and **** himself daft over Carrick and Cleverley.

No points for guessing who he supports.

Martin Tyler, i don't mind Don Goodman (at times).

Having looked through loads of old matches i've found some decent ones. Throughout football history you have to say this is great.

My favourite of the current crop was Jonathan Pearce, but he seems to have gone off the boil a bit recently.

Barry Davies was, indeed, superb. It was nice to hear him back for the Olympics hockey coverage. I have fond memories of peter brackley and gary bloom for the old football italia days. Most of them around now are average at best really but itv's lot are all atrocious.

Without a doubt mine has to be Barry Davies. Loved it that he did the hockey games in the Olympics. Much missed overall though.

    2)The late great Brian Moore
    3)The late Keith Macklin
    4)John Motson
    5)Steve Wilson.

But i am now warming to Guy Mowbray. He is much better than he used to be.

Not keen on the sky sports guys sadly, but Clive Tyldesley is the worst by miles,, imo. I mute the tv when he is on.

Oh yes the good old days when football was tough. Not keen on the black and white picture though. Lol.

Martin Tyler by a country mile.

Is a country mile a different length to a normal mile? I always wondered this....

Ye, it'd seem further as it would be through rougher country rather than a straight road.

Love Martin Tyler. But I also have come to really appreciate Ian Darke.
