What did you all expect of a football manager exactly? Hodgson sees Terry as one of the better English CBs ... and he could be right despite our feelings about the man. It therefore follows that it is in his (Hodgson's) interests that Terry is available for selection for England. Morals, honour, integity, code, ethics, middlethecks and the like are irrelevant. It's similar to Warnock signing Dioufbag. It's football. Yeah, I've got a jaundiced view of it, because the whole thing is cynical, hypocritical and devoid of the sportsmanship upon which it was originally built. In any other walk of life (perhaps with a few possible exceptions in the entertainment industry) employers wouldn't touch somebody like Terry or Dioufbag with a bargepole. In Association Football there is a tendency to stick 'em on a pedestal and chuck moolah at 'em.
Does a ban not mean anything these days? We all know it's him, just ban the account, It's not difficult...
Shouldnt he be permanently banned for dual accounts or registering under another name while banned? The place is a lot better without him.

Good on yer Pete! . I agree with the lads to be fair. Its not Hodgson's place to be pre-empting the outcome of an investigation. Whatever you may think of the case, it should be allowed to run its course and a verdict settled upon.

This forum I would have to say is very boring without ALL our characters and would fade very quickly without them and all the new posters of the future.
