It seems that Wolves have again rejected an offer by the Mackems for Steven Fletcher. Given that they are now a Championship side and Fletcher was not good enough to save them last year, I think that Wolves are expecting too much. Any thoughts?
I like him as a player but think they have valued him way to much. Think there just tryin scare teams off from tryin buy him. Am i right in thinkin he wants to leave wolves they should try cash in if that the case. Think the worlds gone crazy if you have to spend 12 mil for a player in the championship
Hasn't he put a transfer request in? They should let him go, it's late on, but 12 mil? Could get 5 decent championship players for that much.
They actually BID 12 million?? Not a chance in hell he's worth that much IMHO. Very good player but no way hosse.. way OTT price wise.
Probably trying to keep the key players to help them get back up, it could be a show of intent to fans and other players.
Fletcher has already put in a transfer req. Wolves would be mad to turn it down .. he aint worth half that Burnley to Wolves .. for 12 mill !!!!!!!!!!!! you want a bit of class hes ok but he inna class by a long long way So when the transfer window is about to shut somebody will prob snap him up a lot cheaper Wolves dont want an unhappy player on there hands .. and throw money away as well mmmm
As a SAFC supporter, i would wait till Jan and see where Wolves are and how many goals Fletcher has scored then decide. Are you after Jarvis for a rejected £9 m !, he got the ball took of him twice, we paid £325,000 for James mcclean and would not swap him. MON said in our local paper today he will not be held to ransom, i reckon we could get Berbatov or Arshavin for about the same money, and i think we should have kept kenwyne.
Nope, we haven't bid on Jarvis - we went for kightly for 2.5 million. We wanted jarvis but the price tag is crazy!
