How is £24 million plus £17 million( Kagawa's final figure which is always used) £34 million? Mancs and their inability to count

 

Its being reported as £17million for RVP with add ons.

Kagawa is £12million rising to £17million.

 

What i thought... and RVP is likely to end up costing close to £30mill if he does well.

TBF though i would probably swap...

 

I can't see that happening. I reckon the Mancs are distorting the figures. I reckon its £20 million up front with another £4 million based on success, appearances etc. Kagawa's will end up at £17 million taking it to £41 million and not £34 million.

RVP gets £225k per week on a four-year deal. Total package will cost Man Utd £71m.

Rooney is on £180k so he will be on the same at the most.

Rooney is the top earner at United and will be until he leaves I suspect. Dont think hes due a renewal so cant see RVP being on more. I do think he will match Rooney though.

He would of also got the same at City and Arsenal would of likely come close if not matched it had he shown interest in a contract. I think there were reports they were going to offer him loads earlier in the summer to try and compare with City who were expected to sign him no problem.

Well seeing as RVP is such a crock the appearances money will never have to be paid.
That means we have bought last seasons top goalscorer in the league for less money than either Downing(no goals&no assists) or Henderson.
In fact we have paid the same money as the dippers have paid for a Swansea reserve. Great bit of business by SAF.
