    £24m according to SSN.

Maybe you feel we should have bid for him Bobby and have missed out here yet again?

They don't scare me in the slightest Disco. None of them ever played EPL football before. RVP is pure class and especially at The Emirates and he was a banker to score. His loss today will be a massive blow psychologically to Arsenal this weekend. If we lost Sess at this stage we'd be flatter than a witches tit wouldnt we and RVP is 10 time the player Sess will ever be.

    Spot on Bobby.

Mark my words on this Podolski, Giroud & Cazorla will all be exceptional in the league, and I am certainly not excited to face them, away, first up.

None of these 3 are in that class imo.

Having seen Santi 7-8 times last season mate, I think you may get a surprise.

He is a phenomenal player, better than Mata, and just a shade behind Silva.

Podolski is a Premiership player physically, & Giroud can score goals from nothing.

The latter 2 don't compare to Henry & Bergkamp, but then, they are easily the best strike force ever, IMO.

Cest, I think you are in for a nasty surprise if you under estimate Cazorla and Podolski (I can understand Giroud).

Cazorla imo is just as good as Silva. Better than Mata. Rate him really highly. Best player outside the top 2 in Spain by far. He'll be a great signing for them.

My point is Arsenal have replaced one of the best EPL proven strikers with 3 completely unproven ones.

I'm not doubting that in time they could adapt but I still maintain none are even close to lacing up the boots of Henry or Berkamp and I am hugely relieved we won't be facing RVP this weekend.

If Saha signs I fancy we might score and even get something from the game. Arsenal fans will be gutted and restless this weekend and if we are both solid and disciplined we will frustrate them.

    1 1 draw.

Would love a draw but think we may get narrowl beaten, yes they have unproven players in the PL but that doesnt really apply to the players they have signed, Podolski has played all around the world for Germany and he will fit straight into the groove (take note fantasy football managers) as with Carzola but maybe Giroud will take a bit of time but these guys are world class footballers, they can play wherever in the world, they dont need time to adapt. The "time to adapt" phrase is an excuse only used when you sign someone for a lot of dosh and they do nothing for the first few games, if your good then you can play in any league in the world.

    Poor Arsenal.

I wouldn't mind you lot giving them a good hiding at their place, all I've heard is how they've sold their skipper to their arch rivals...???? Your what? Since when have Arsenal legitimately offered up any sort of rivalry in the last 6/7 years?

I would like you to take 3 points of them, for sure but my head is saying they have a huge point to prove minus RVP now and they're gonna rip whoever comes up first a brand new one. I'm kind of glad it's not us, as funny as it would be to beat them this early, but I'm not that sure we would!

    Good luck either way.
