Wish I could but unless we start achieving things in Europe, I honestly can't see us being able to hold on to Victor Wanyama for much more than another year or so if he continues playing in the same vein or better. Tying him down to a longer contract, however, would mean we could at least insist on his true value from whatever EPL club that is likely to come knocking, rather than them thinking they can pick up our players for next to nothing in comparison to what they pay for other players.

It is rather bizarre that a player who can score 48 goals in one season is linked with £2m moves to Blackburn. Obviously the scouts haven't been overawed by him - maybe another Kris Boyd type.
I thought he had an excellent game Rebel. Was active the whole game and found himself in space in the box a lot, nearly scored with a difficult header early on. Wee McCormack was good when he came on as well.
