I think Arsenal fans should take a look at what happens when RvP joins United. When RvP had a chance of staying at Arsenal, he was not going to make much difference and Arsenal were still going to finish out of the top 4. Now he has joined United, he is a world beater and United are bound to win. He is the same player, it's just that their fans have a more positive outlook on life.
LLorente would not be an adequate replacement IMO.(besdides Kevin Mereillas for £6.4 million is more likley) I would rather Sahin or Mvila was brought in.
Bilbao have already said they don't need to sell and that he would only go if someone reached his release clause (36million euros)
"'I love the club and the fans, no matter what happens. I have grown up and became a man during my time with Arsenal FC. 'Everybody at the club and the fans have always supported me over the years and I have always given my all (and more) on and off the pitch. I am very proud of being part of this fantastic club for the last eight years. " But money is money , and i have to think about myself and not the mugs that supported me even when i was crocked most of the time. I have given one great season to Arsenal and now im offski. Thanks for everything. Your Pal always . Robin .
Seeing as Mirallas is going to Everton, I doubt it! I really am not bothered about RVP going to Man U, but I find it hilarious that it's pissed on the fires of fans of other clubs.
That would be awesome, but unlikely as Sir Alex is probably going to find a way to incorporate him well into their system. The only way he'll fail is if he gets injured. This move must be great for Welbeck and Hernandez's careers!
Well, United will win the league now. I think he'll be a huge success there. Im pretty sure they will manage his injury issues better than we did also. ...and unless we invest some more we wont be challenging. Back where the club aims to be.. fighting for champions league qualification. Yippeee. Fans can pretend RVP just went for the money but...He left because we're not going to win **** if we keep selling our best players years upon year.
"He left because we're not going to win **** if we keep selling our best players years upon year. " eh ? let me get this straight . " Im you best player and im leaving coz you keep letting your best players leave. " read what piskie posted. A direct quote from TC . " im sure i could win things with any other team in another country but...will it feel like our trophy. . my trophy ? , anything we win here will come from the heart " Well that was bullsh1t wasnt it ? lol .
Well he's not really helped that situation has he ? He said he wanted to win trophies with Arsenal and return the club to it's glory days. He's got a ****ing strange way of going about it.
What can we do if players don't sign contracts which offer the most money we have ever offered? Let them rot, like I would, or get a shed load of cash for an injury prone, 1 season wonder, 29 year old? Can't blame the club for this one. We showed ambition by signing Giroud and Podolski early and then Cazorla. Can't blame the club for Cesc (legend) or Na$ri (wouldn't sign a contract). It's the game. Rooney did the same to ManU last year till they offered ridiculous money. Now they have share issues where over half goes to paying debt and into the owners pockets. As long as we invest (& we've spent ~£40M already) then it's good business. Na$ri and VP are just money grabbing ****s. Man U will NOT win the league matey.
I am so supporting Man City next season. This is hiliarious. Still it could be worse.. we could be three days away from the start of the new season and have a crocked defence, no midfield and one recognised striker....
